Today we mark Swoop’s final day of operation, celebrating 5 years of making meaningful journeys and memories to last a lifetime. #TeamSwoop has been honoured to serve the Canadian traveling public, carrying nearly 7 million travellers to 38 destinations. As we reflect on our Swoop journey, we are grateful for our travellers and partners and the many adventures shared.   As we now integrate with WestJet, we look forward to new adventures ahead. We would like to thank all our loyal Swoop travellers for their support and we hope you’ll join us on our journey at WestJet. #LoveWhereYoureGoing

Our thoughts are with those in #Yellowknife who are navigating an incredibly challenging and rapidly changing situation with advancing wildfires. We’d like to thank our amazing crew members who stepped up to operate several rescue flights between #YZF and #YEG to support the ongoing GNWT evacuation efforts. We appreciate all the #TeamSwoop efforts behind the scenes to make sure these flights could happen and aid in the safe evacuation of as many residents as possible.

This summer is proving to be a momentous one for #TeamSwoop! This July, we surpassed seven million travellers flown, achieved a 99.0% completion factor and a 77.8% A15 on-time performance (arrival within 15 minutes of scheduled time). Most importantly, we’re providing a service that Canadians truly value, indicated through an impressively high Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 56. A standard NPS scale runs from -100 to 100, with a score over 0 being good and over 50 being excellent. Thank you to our Swoopsters who support and take care of our travellers throughout their journey. And thank you to all of our travellers for their trust and loyalty over the past five years; we look forward to serving Swoop travellers through October 28, 2023, after which our operations will fully integrate into WestJet.
