This is a device that allows a baby to be held and nursed while receiving #phototherapy treatment for jaundice. Premier Ford was very careful to support the baby’s head while being held :-)

SOUND-ON: Cortex has relocated from our main office in Parkdale (Queen St. West) to 82 Peter St, an 8500 sq ft post and beam loft building in downtown Toronto. This is a great new space, generously proportioned, and we are proud to show it off. Thanks to all our amazing partners, clients, and Foundry members who have supported us as we enter our 25th year in business. In addition, we have a new space we call Cortex West to support contract manufacturing, hold events, and provide a location for formative useability testing for consumer #medtech devices. This move is part of our commitment to provide a great working environment for our staff, acquire top-notch equipment to enable our teams to perform more #prototyping and #embedded systems firmware, PCB, and PCBA design and development in-house, and perform pre-#certification and #safetytesting for #IEC60601, and #ISO13485 certified design, engineering, and #manufacturing services to our portfolio companies.
