This section is incomplete. Please feel free to edit this section to add missing information and complete it. Reason: Section for information regarding their appearance and interactions as a Special Coach at the Blueberry Academy League Club Room |
Dendra is an energetic young woman and uses that energy while teaching. She always refers to the player as "new kid".
In forming bonds with her, she admits that while she is athletic, she is not good at cooking, especially making sandwiches. She improves her cooking by learning more from the player's feedback and practicing with Saguaro. Dendra reveals that she wants to make sandwiches for Miriam as gratitude, since the latter often patches up her injuries. Dendra looks up to Miriam because she is nice and skilled, and she wanted to learn a skill to help others the way Miriam does. She realizes that although she isn't skilled at making sandwiches, she decides to focus on being full of energy.
Dendra participates in the Academy Ace Tournament, including the scripted first round. The player can also find her in Alfornada, assisting in her childhood friend Tulip's Gym Test of ESP exercise, even after the player has already defeated the Gym. This is because Dendra lost a battle with Tulip due to her Fighting type Pokémon being a bad matchup against her Psychic Pokémon, with the stakes being that whoever lost had to do whatever the victor wanted. According to Tulip, Dendra praises the player's skills in the Gym Test.

Character
Dendra has an enthusiastic and upbeat personality, with a passion for working out and teaching students about Pokemon battles just like in the video games. She is encouraging to students in their endeavors, always motivating them to do their best. She is also sound in judgement and is a fair referee as shown in the Elite four battle tournament at the school, where she noted that Coral lost the battle against Larry because of the rules stating how using the move Self Destruct immediately counts as a loss for the trainer and not the Elite four member.

Pokémon Adventures
Dendra debuted in PASV01. She was first seen taking part in the opening ceremony for Uva Academy's Treasure Hunt. When a student named Violet crashed the presentation, Dendra and two other teachers attempted to stop him. Violet agreed to accept punishment for his actions, but only if he was defeated in a race. Accepting this challenge, Dendra, Violet, and the two other teachers raced around the academy's courtyard. Despite being the only competitor on foot instead of riding a Pokémon, Dendra ended up winning the race when Violet got distracted by Arven. Later, Dendra and the other teachers were called to an emergency meeting by Clavell, who informed them of Violet's backstory and explained his behavior.

- Main article: Dendra (Paldea Evolved 179)
Dendra was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Scarlet & Violet Series (the Japanese Scarlet & Violet Era). It was first released in the Japanese Triplet Beat subset and the English Paldea Evolved expansion, with artwork by yuu. An ultra rare version with artwork by the same artist, and a special illustration rare version of the card with artwork by GIDORA were released in the same sets. It allows players to put a card from their hand on the bottom of their deck. If they do, the player draws cards until they have 5 cards in their hand. Because this card's effect requires the player to put another card on the bottom of their deck, this card cannot be played if it is the last card in the player's hand.
Trivia
- After Dendra recalls her Pokémon from battle, she pats the Poké Ball rather than simply nodding at it like many Trainers.
- Due to her role in Tulip's Gym Test, Dendra can be found standing in two places at once indefinitely: Alfornada and the Academy.
- All of the moves used by Dendra's Pokémon are physical moves.
