Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly, Ziya Öztürkler, stated in his commemorative message on the 6th anniversary of the passing of former Prime Minister İrsen Küçük that Küçük provided significant services to his country and people throughout his political career.
In his message, Öztürkler said, “I respectfully and solemnly commemorate the late former Prime Minister and former leader of the National Unity Part, İrsen Küçük on the 6th anniversary of his passing.”
Noting that Küçük rendered significant services to his country and people throughout his political career, the Parliamentary Speaker said, “The ‘Project of the Century,’ which was delivered to us from our motherland, was realized during his tenure as Prime Minister through great efforts. Additionally, he contributed to the implementation of numerous projects during his term as Minister of Agriculture.”
Öztürkler added that as a veteran of Erenköy, the late Küçük held a significant place in Turkish Cypriot political life with his unwavering commitment to national and moral values.
