Washington Commanders signal-caller Jayden Daniels revealed his personal ranking of the five best quarterbacks in NFL history on Thursday.

Daniels ranked Tom Brady at No. 1, Joe Montana at the No. 2 spot, Patrick Mahomes at No. 3, Peyton Manning at No. 4, before rounding out his top five with Michael Vick (h/t GQ Sports).

The incoming rookie also listed Lamar Jackson as his personal comparison, citing his "similar" playing style as the Baltimore Ravens' two-time MVP. It's not far-fetched at this point in his career either, as both players won a Heisman Trophy in college due to their dominance as dual-threat quarterbacks.

Jackson earned his Heisman in 2016 with Louisville, while Daniels is coming off his trophy-winning season at LSU. In his senior year, the 23-year-old completed 72.2 percent of his passes for 3,812 yards while racking up an additional 1,134 yards on the ground.

He also recorded 40 touchdown passes compared to a mere four interceptions, finding the end zone 10 more times as a runner. Daniels' incredible production at LSU led to Washington selecting him with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 draft.

His all-time ranking of retired legends such as Brady, Montana, and Manning isn't extremely controversial, while Mahomes is also on track to cement his status as one of the greatest players in NFL history after winning his third Super Bowl MVP award in 2023.

While Daniels' selection of Vick may turn some heads after he secured just four Pro Bowl nods throughout his career, he was one of the league's early dominant dual-threat quarterbacks and became the first passer to surpass 1,000 rushing yards in a single season in 2006.

Daniels will look to translate his success at LSU to the NFL level and help the Commanders improve upon their 4-13 finish in 2023.
