BUTTE — Montana Tech, Montana Western and Providence were all selected to host opening round matchups of the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship. The 48-team tournament begins with the opening round on Saturday.
Providence (25-6), the Frontier Conference’s regular season and tournament champions, earned an automatic bid to the national tournament. The Argonauts host Cumberlands (Kentucky). Cumberlands earned an at-large bid out of the Mid-South Conference and carries a 32-5 overall record.
Tech and Western earned two of the 14 at-large selections. Tech (19-10) hosts Bushnell (Oregon) in the opening round. Bushnell, an at-large selection out of the Cascade Collegiate Conference, enters the tournament with a 19-12 record.
Western (22-9) is set to host Oregon Tech, another Cascade program. Oregon Tech received an at-large bid and has a 19-13 record.

Winners of opening round matchups advance to the NAIA final site in Sioux City, Iowa. Pool play begins on Dec. 4 and a national champion will be crowned on Dec. 10.
