SMEunited welcomes that the European Parliament has followed the Council’s approval, paving the way for a postponement of the date of application from December 30, 2024 to December 30, 2025 (for #micro and #small #enterprises to June 30, 2026). While the #deforestation regulation entered into force already in June 2023, respective guidelines have only been published in October, only a few months before the initial time of application, with practical questions still open. SMEunited welcomes the proposal for the e-declaration for the posting of workers by the European Commission. SMEs navigate a complex legislative landscape, this is also the case when it comes to the posting of workers.
