GESAC community is deeply saddened by the passing away of Prof. Dr. Reinhold Kreile, who dedicated his life to protection and improvement of authors’ rights. He served as the President of GESAC between 2001-2005, and as a Vice-President for ten years before that playing a central role in the development of European authors’ rights framework. We remember him with respect and gratefulness for all his efforts and express our sincere condolences to his family and to GEMA, where he was still the Honorary President.
