Two standout highlights include their enhanced audience measurement capabilities, which provide deeper insights into viewer engagement, and the introduction of Amazon into the Video Futures Collective. One big happy family... and what an amazing #MFAEX2024! PHD's National Head of Digital Gemma Dawkins and Melbourne Head of Strategy and Planning David Bielenberg took to the stage to discuss the future of media through an AI lens - demonstrating how the decisions of today influence the industry of tomorrow. From the year 2049, the two emerged from a time machine covered in an eerie cloud of smoke. In order to choose which future they would return to, audience members answered questions before they left. Regulation of AI, personalisation, and "automatisation of work" were among the topics covered in the questions. A glimpse of the future was shown to the audience when Bielenberg and Dawkins leaped back in the time machine.
