Two standout highlights include their enhanced audience measurement capabilities, which provide deeper insights into viewer engagement, and the introduction of Amazon into the Video Futures Collective. PHD's Head of Investment for Melbourne, Ryan Ambrose, said, "Foxtel Media were unapologetic of their “divorce” from their current measurement provider and their positioning as a digital-first streaming provider" "Foxtel spent considerable time returning to the theme of measurement. One big happy family... and what an amazing #MFAEX2024! PHD's National Head of Digital Gemma Dawkins and Melbourne Head of Strategy and Planning David Bielenberg took to the stage to discuss the future of media through an AI lens - demonstrating how the decisions of today influence the industry of tomorrow. From the year 2049, the two emerged from a time machine covered in an eerie cloud of smoke. In order to choose which future they would return to, audience members answered questions before they left. Regulation of AI, personalisation, and "automatisation of work" were among the topics covered in the questions. A glimpse of the future was shown to the audience when Bielenberg and Dawkins leaped back in the time machine. PHD Australia CEO Mark Jarrett presented at the TikTok summit yesterday alongside Virgin Australia CMO Elizabeth (Libby) Minogue, and PepsiCo Marketing Director of Beverages Susan Press. PHD's Investment Coordinator Clare Cannons unpacks the importance of the word 'AND' as part of the Media Federation of Australia DEI Council “Changing Perspectives” series identifying that, "there is room for more than one version of you – and there is value and power in every unique element that makes up those versions." Clare states, "You can be more than one thing, and those things don’t have to correlate nor boost one singular skill – and they certainly will not decrease another skill’s value."
