Liam is a film and television Producer and graduate of AFTRS and the Griffith Film School.
Upon graduating AFTRS in 2014, Liam was employed by acclaimed production company Goalpost Pictures (THE SAPPHIRES, THE INVISIBLE MAN), working across all facets of the company. He was quickly promoted to Production Executive and later to Producer, and worked across an eclectic range projects including HOLDING THE MAN (Dir. Neil Armfield), FIGHTING SEASON for Foxtel/Sky, Goalpost/Blumhouse co-productions UPGRADE and THE INVISIBLE MAN, and CLEVERMAN for ABC/Sundance TV on which he was Associate Producer / Digital Producer.
Most recently, Liam was Co-Producer on the box-office hit TOP END WEDDING, directed by Wayne Blair and starring Miranda Tapsell and Gwilym Lee, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. He is Associate Producer of the upcoming Helen Reddy biopic I AM WOMAN, starring Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Danielle Macdonald and Evan Peters, which premiered at TIFF 2019 and is due for wide release in 2020, and the Co-Producer on NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN, an exciting revisionist western mini-series for SBS and All3Media International.
Alongside his long-form work he has produced the award-winning web series LOCATION SCOUTS for Tourism NT, written and directed by the Van Vuuren Bros (BONDI HIPSTERS) and an expansive catalogue of short films including ADULT (Dir. Jamieson Pearce) which premiered in competition at SXSW 2017, I I F****D A MERMAID AND NO ONE BELIEVES ME (Dir. Madeleine Gottlieb) which won the 2019 AWGIE for Best Short Film Script, and the Lexus Short Film Fellowship funded STRANGERS (Dir. Jamieson Pearce) which premiered at Sydney Film Festival 2019. He is currently in Post-Production on short film YOU AND ME, BEFORE AND AFTER (Dir. Madeleine Gottlieb), a dramedy starring Yael Stone (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK) and Emily Barclay (PLEASE LIKE ME) as feuding sisters getting their first tattoos together.
Liam is passionate about telling commercial stories about the queer experience. He is currently developing a slate of projects under his own production banner Mad Ones Films, which he founded with fellow producer Cyna Strachan in 2015.
