FOX Sports utilised Piero in Sydney & Libero in Melbourne as analysis tools and to enhance live and studio based programming. Due to contracts renewal, an opportunity arised to assess current & future requirements, negotiate and implement a combined deal for both sites to deliver a cohesive and consistent quality product.

New additions to Fox Sports’ in-broadcast Augmented Reality:
- a virtual tackle marker, keeping track of the tackle-count as well as showing subscribers exactly where it took place
- a new virtual 10-metre line, making it clearer for fans to know when refs are getting it right, shedding new light on what was a recurring point of contention.

Fox Sports News managed all of the content used on the channel on a Quantel system which was end of life. The system allowed content to be ingested, edited and played out in Presentation and Fox Sports News Studio control room.

Aim: upgrade/substitute the edit system to have it integrated with the rest of the business, sharing content between channels, introducing efficiency in a number of different areas and having a fast delivery time to screen.
