    Fox Sports News managed all of the content used on the channel on a Quantel system which was end of life. The system allowed content to be ingested, edited and played out in Presentation and Fox Sports News Studio control room.

    Aim: upgrade/substitute the edit system to have it integrated with the rest of the business, sharing content between channels, introducing efficiency in a number of different areas and having a fast delivery time to screen.

    The introduction of the new workflows delivered significant costs reduction and the payback of the project in less than 1 year since the roll out, allowing material arrivals, audio processing and quality checks in few hours instead of weeks.
