Today, Vicsport held Part 1 of a Trauma Informed Care Workshop for Child Safe and Member Protection Information Officers that unpacked practical recommendations for applying principles of Trauma Informed Care to assist in preventing child abuse and promoting safety in sport. Hosted by Participation and Inclusion Manager Michaela Cook, the session was presented by experts Professor Alex Parker, Dr Aurélie Pankowiak (PhD) and Dr Mary Woessner (PhD) from Victoria University.
