Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to celebrate excellence from within Motorama, as well as recognize our 'cool culture' and values champions, at the Annual Motorama Service Awards Night. We're proud to play a big part in our community! Last Friday, we packed the Parts Ute with natives from Garden Concepts & Design and headed out to St Joseph's Primary School in Gilgandra for Schools Tree Day. And what an adventure it was! Our team was greeted by almost 50 Year 3 & 4 students, many of whom knew more about gardening than we did! But that didn't deter us! We rolled up our sleeves and worked with the students to plant 38 natives in their Fairy Garden. A space used by the younger students for imaginative play. Over the coming weeks, Essential Energy will be supplying some native mulch from the local area. This mulch will add nutrients to the soil that these plants require to thrive and help to further drought-proof the garden.
