Yesterday, Alison Costello (Managing Director, OMD Brisbane) took part in a great panel discussion at The Audio Edge event, showcasing the best of Australia's commercial audio industry, presented by Commercial Radio & Audio. ‘Sonic Boom – Digital Audio’s Exponential Growth’ explored how technology is reshaping the way audio is planned, bought, measured and optimised. Ali expressed how it’s about appreciating beyond incremental audiences, and how the audio ‘whole’ is far greater than the sum of the parts. She went on to say that we need to consider how we plan and buy audio, alongside the impact of creative on effectiveness. Well done Ali and huge thanks to the CRA for the invitation!

Our Chief Product Officer Brian Cronk joined creative technologist, #ThisWayUp international keynote and Founder/CEO of OK Tomorrow, Nilesh Ashra for his live workshop: Experimentation with AI: Going Deep, Getting Weird, Pushing the Limits, presented by Nine. A packed room of industry friends, and their laptops, took part in live demos with Ashra's fascinating insights on how AI can fast-track innovation, turbocharge imagination and facilitate greater creative and media collaboration. Brian, alongside Julian Schreiber (Partner and CCO, Special Australia) and Liana Dubois (CMO, Nine), talked with Nilesh about the value of AI in pushing our ‘human potential’, how it’s less about what the ‘machine’ can do, but more about what we can now do with it. Kenvue has named Omnicom to run its Global Content Factory, a consolidated commercial and content production operation that will handle work on the consumer packaged goods marketer’s ads and most other content, following a review. Kenvue's Chief Growth Officer Charmaine England said she was really impressed with Omnicom's team, its experience, and exciting AI tech. "They’ve got a great innovation lab. It made us really confident that they could help us continue to drive for the best marketing capabilities in the globe," she added.
