To celebrate Matariki (Māori New Year) in 2024, the wider Live Nation Aotearoa team came together with Conservation Volunteers New Zealand for their annual tree planting day - planting more than 600 trees as part of a wider stream restoration project! 🌳

This NAIDOC Week, Live Nation Australia is proud to launch its first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).   Live Nation has worked with Reconciliation Australia to develop our first RAP, called ‘Reflect’. This plan will help prepare our organisation to engage in reconciliation meaningfully and will be implemented over 12 months.   In tangent with our RAP, we are proud to unveil this wonderful artwork - Nitel lotjpa - meaning “to gather and yarn”, capturing the commencement of Live Nation’s Reconciliation journey and our commitment to developing meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.   This artwork was created by incredible artists and proud Aboriginal Yorta Yorta brother and sister, Luke and Siena Tieri, who founded Bayadherra. As emerging artists with an Aboriginal business, their purpose is to advance reconciliation and promote cultural awareness, education and understanding by expressing their traditional storylines and Indigenous heritage in bespoke art and design pieces by combining contemporary colours with traditional visual language to reflect Country, culture and community.    Read more about this artwork and the artists on page three of our RAP.    👉 You can view our RAP on the Reconciliation Australia website: https://lnkd.in/giGCS6s9 To celebrate NAIDOC Week here at Live Nation Australia, we were lucky to have Uncle Colin Hunter Jr., a proud Wurundjeri man and a Wurundjeri Woiwurrung Elder for over 15 years, join us in our Collingwood HQ for a Q&A session. Tyler Childers has today announced his eagerly awaited live show is coming to Australia and New Zealand early in 2025, on the Mule Pull Tour! The tour will commence in Auckland, followed by shows in Brisbane, Byron Bay, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, and Melbourne, concluding with an outdoor show in Korumburra. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈 To celebrate across Australia and New Zealand, Pride Nation ANZ hosted a Pride Panel featuring a trio of wonderful speakers, including artist Harper Bloom, performer and winner of Season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, Isis Avis Loren, and Live Nation Australasia's very own Georgia Hannaford! The panel shared insight into their journey discovering their identity within the LGBTQIA+ community, their work in the live entertainment industry, and advice on how businesses and individuals can be better allies to the community. Harper also performed following the panel, wrapping up an amazing event with good vibes and catchy tunes!
