Last Wednesday was my last day at Booking.com.
The past five years as a product lead for multiple new verticals at Booking have been life-changing.
I’m truly grateful for the experience & the tremendous amount of learning & insights have made me wiser. And of course, as you leave a company, you end up becoming better friends with some great colleagues:)
I had an opportunity to launch Booking’s foray into Travel Insurance, go really deep in the art of A/B testing, deliver multi-million dollar strategies, get spoilt by the food choice of 3 restaurants, host multiple talks on the power of mindfulness, and so on and so forth.
While doing so, I faced challenges of hard to navigate political battles, organisation restructuring, Covid, lack of resources for startup teams etc. and have come out a lot wiser.
What’s next?
A consistent theme in my life for the last 8 years has been entrepreneurship in many ways and I’m looking forward to spending all of my energy into what gives me joy and serves an important need of our current world.
The 3 areas I’m exploring deeply are Global Migration, Mindfulness/Mental Health & Education & believe there can be magic at the intersection of these. If you are passionate about these topics, hit me up.
Geographically, I will be between India & the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, I will keep publishing some cool content about Indian 1st generation immigrants & mentoring people in the Startups/Career side.
See you!
PS: Caught the CEO Glenn Fogel in the last week and told him I'm still keeping my stocks as I sincerely believe they're in the right hands!
