Our team in Melbourne have been busy planting trees as part of an environmental initiative hosted by our valued client, Dow. The tree planting activity is part of a broad initiative from Dow to reduce and offset carbon emissions resulting from the investigation and remediation activities. We were happy to donate our time (and world-class tree planting skills) to assist Dow with their initiative and in doing so, spending quality time together as a team as part of a wider celebration of Geosyntec's 40th Anniversary. For July and August, our 40th-anniversary theme is collaboration. As a business and a team, we collaborate to solve our client’s most challenging issues and consistently deliver best-value solutions. Here’s to 40 years of collaborating with a generous spirit! #TreePlanting #Volunteering #GeosyntecAustralia #Dow #Anniversary Daniel Hodges Frederic Cosme Andrew McLean Catherine Bingham Nathan Northby Claire Miller

Our Sydney team had the opportunity to tour Envirolab Group's extensive facilities, where the intricate process of asbestos fibre extraction stood out as a major highlight. Observing the microscope assessment and fibre extraction, and seeing the colour schemes related to fibre types, gave us a deeper appreciation of the meticulousness and manual labour involved in achieving accurate asbestos results. In addition to being one of our primary lab partners in Australia, Envirolab has continuously supported us professionally with in-office presentations and lab tours for our environmental engineers, auditors, and scientists. Thanks to David Springer and Jeremy Faircloth who help us target laboratory analyses to meet our clients’ needs, develop site-specific analytical methods, and troubleshoot unexpected laboratory results. #EnvirolabSydney #AsbestosAnalyses #SiteInvestigationandRemediation #GeosyntecAustralia

Our core values and practices align with a culture of continuous learning. At REE, we aim to foster ongoing knowledge-sharing and skill development among individuals. Yesterday, we conducted our second CPT 101 Training Course led by Benoit Wentzinger and Wade Ludlow. The insightful training session focused on the execution and processing of Cone Penetration Tests (CPTs), one of the most common in situ field tests in our industry. We were delighted to have Thomas Ross, Jaive Barber, and Kristy Ellis as special guests from Rio Tinto in attendance. It was a fantastic and enriching experience for all involved! #CPT #insitutest #tailings #mining #continuos #learning #australia

Our Melbourne clients had a great night by listening to Robert Ettinger, Kylie Lloyd, Claire Miller, Daniel Hodges, and Mark Beaufoy (King & Wood Mallesons). The Polly Woodside delivered as a great venue. We held engaging discussions on vapour intrusion, risk assessment, and managing environmental legacies into the future.
