A heartfelt thank you to The Hon. Aileen MacDonald OAM MLC for hosting a special Empower Her morning tea at Parliament of NSW, yesterday. It was wonderful to come together with Amanda Webb, our Chair, and Sonia Casanova, our CEO, to share the mission of Dress for Success NSW & ACT in empowering women toward financial independence. It was an inspiring morning filled with support, solidarity, and shared purpose. We sincerely appreciate all of the members of parliament who attended. Our Summer Hill boutique was recently featured on 10 News First Lunchtime! Yanina’s Journey of Resilience! Meet Yanina! She recently returned to our Summer Hill boutique for a mix-and-match styling session after landing a new job. Yanina’s journey hasn’t been easy; she has faced some challenging times with her health, but her spirit remains strong. To lift her spirits, her daughter even gave her a haircut, adding a touch of brightness to her day. When Yanina arrived for her session, she wore the beloved striped shirt we gifted her during her last visit—a piece that always brings her comfort and confidence. We're so proud to be part of her journey and honored to help her feel empowered in her new role. Meet Eden!  Eden recently visited our Illawarra branch with her beautiful 6-month-old baby, ready to take the next step in re-entering the workforce. Our dedicated volunteers styled her in a chic skirt suit that felt as if it was tailored just for her. Eden’s little one enjoyed watching Mum get dressed up, bringing extra joy to our team as we helped Eden prepare for her journey ahead. Eden left feeling uplifted and shared how warm and supportive the experience was. Alongside her suit, we provided her with comfortable shoes, a large nappy bag, and a stylish leather tote; practical essentials to empower her as she steps forward with confidence.
