Yesterday the Beon Energy Solutions team had the pleasure of celebrating #Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. Colourful outfits, delicious food, flowers, candles, music and an onsite henna artist made for a fantastic day. Everyone was encouraged to get involved in the fun and to learn more about the traditions and history of Diwali. It was great to see so many people getting into the spirit.   We would like to wish all our staff and clients a happy and safe Diwali! 🕯

At last week's Women in Renewables Luncheon, it was announced that Beon Energy Solutions’s own Kirsten Lee had been selected to receive the Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership.   Each year the Clean Energy Council selects a handful of women who have demonstrated excellence in their field, a commitment to the clean energy industry, and strong leadership potential to receive the scholarship. We are thrilled and so proud to have Kirsten representing us 😍   Congratulations Kirsten, amazing work and well-earned recognition. On Sunday 13th October, Beon Energy Solutions site supervisor, Cody Jones, took his dedication to another level by completing the Melbourne Marathon. Not only did he finish in a very impressive time, but he did it to raise money for Beyond Blue.   After losing a close friend, Cody and his partner Taylor took it upon themselves to raise money and awareness for the important work Beyond Blue do for mental health. They smashed their initial target, doing what Beon staff do best – going above and beyond.   We are always proud to see our employees helping their community and committing to the causes they believe in. Last Saturday, a group of Beon Energy Solutions staff were joined by colleagues, friends, and family to participate in the Surf Coast Century for the eighth year in a row. This year we had six teams and one plucky individual representing Beon on the 100km course along the stunning Great Ocean Road. Runners hit the trails to raise money for the Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation and the Alfie Chivers Research Fellowship with each donation supporting researchers in Melbourne to further understand and better treat brain tumours. We are proud to support such a worthy cause close to our hearts and a fun and inspiring day was had by all ❤️ 💪 #BeonOurTeam

Yesterday Beon Energy Solutions employees had the privilege of taking some time out of their days to collect litter from the Yarra River (Birrarrung) and learn more about Melbourne’s beautiful waterway. This unique experience was made possible by the Yarra Riverkeeper Association and provided an opportunity to observe the river and the city from a different perspective.   Caring for the communities in which we operate is a cornerstone of our values at Beon and taking the time to tend to our environment in this way was truly memorable!

It's official - construction has now commenced at Broadsound Solar Farm 🎉 We are pleased to be working with Iberdrola Australia on this project and we look forward to the opportunities it presents to engage with the local community and suppliers.

Meet Aparna! Aparna recently joined Beon as a Graduate Engineer working with the Grid Connections Team.   She is looking forward to learning more about the processes and challenges involved with the grid connection of renewable energy projects and also developing a wider appreciation of the different aspects of renewable energy project management. Beon has been voted a Top Graduate Employer for 2024 by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) and we are thrilled to have Aparna onboard 😀☀ #BeonOurTeam
