In 1742, a gold figurine imbued with supernatural powers passes into the hands of an explorer by way of a dastardly act. Decades later, the treasure continues to cast a spell over his descendants. Step into the shoes of an 18th-century detective to uncover the dark truth behind a series of strange — and somehow connected — deaths that seem to follow in the idol's wake.
This Netflix edition of the game includes two additional prequel chapters, "The Spider of Lanka" and "The Lemurian Vampire."

Really good game but missing text (1 time) + 1 instance of spelling error

In Golden Idol Mysteries- The Spider of Lanka “In the Web of the Spider” the fourth required scroll has an incomplete sentence. “Meanwhile Oberon Gellar left through the door, the — Kirthi Bandara and escaped.” The “—“ is the missing word that makes the sentence complete. I got be stuck until I looked up what I got wrong since the sentence didn’t make sense.
Something small I thought was funny was when in a level of the Main story said “accomany” instead of accompany. I can’t remember which Chapter but the spelling error exists.
This is still a 5/5 star game though. I’m not going to rate it less since the experience was still very good. These were the only things I’ve noticed that were out of the ordinary. Don’t let this review dissuade you from playing. Also the artstyle is reminds me of Lakeview Valley so it gets plus points in my book!

Incredible detective puzzler
If you like whodunnit movies, you’ll love this game. Perfect for quick play sessions or airplaying to your TV and playing with someone else on the big screen while you control from your phone. It’s challenging, so don’t expect an easy play through. Highly recommend. Can’t wait for the sequel also coming to Netflix!

Trying to play but turns off constantly
This looks like a fun logic puzzle game, simple with some sounds effects, but for my iPad and iPhone it glitches out and stops playing. That is something older games always had back in the beginning. I have a current IPhone and and an older IPad I play games on all the time and this is the first time I have had constant glitching. I was getting into it too,
Yes, I have the most updated version and it is still doing it. It looked fun and not too hard, but on the second level I gave up. Will try again down the road.
