I visited another city, 1000 miles from home, for 3 days, almost 4 years ago. The News Near You section of the app STILL shows ONLY news from that distant city with absolutely no way to force it to update or change my location. Like so many other parts of this app, it is utterly useless to me, now. Also, it's not uncommon to click on an article and have it open another. Closing and trying again goes back to the same incorrect one, and you never actually get the article you want.

Scrolling is jittery and makes it impossible to read articles. It keeps wanting to put ads front and center and makes the text jump around as I'm trying to read it. This is quite possibly the worst app experience I've had for a news app. The ads in the way they behave makes it torture to try and read even short articles.

Paid for subscription. App does not let you sign in. Customer Service solution is to use url on web. Live with the constant pop ups. After 1 article.... subscription for only 5 dollars a year. USA Today Customer Service answer. Do not use the app. Just log in directly. Asked for an email confirming on their side. My subscription is canceled or end dated so no auto renewal. Nope! 4 weeks still no email. Do not use.
