    It’s great. I’ve used different condenses and for me this microphone brings out the best part of my voice. I have a soulful voice and actually thought that I needed something elaborate. I believe if you naturally have a good ‘tone’ to your voice, you don’t need to do much processing and double tracking etc, to bring it out. Remember when performers sing live, they normally use this mic. If it’s good enough for some of the worlds biggest stars, it’s good enough for us. There are performers that prefer to use this in the studio even when they have access to some of the most expensive microphones in the world.

    The best. Ok, you can tech spec better, but in real use, this is No1 for a reason. Bought one 10 years ago. This is for son who is now singing with us. Mine still in action. PAs may change, band members leave, but the sm58 goes on forever. Given the longevity of the product, you have to say quality does come cheap.
