    Geekbench 3 is a synthetic benchmarking tool that you can use on your tablet or phone to give you a general idea of your relative performance quotient, especially when compared to other devices that have also performed the same synthetic benchmark. Basically, use this tool to see how well your device performs (or is underperforming).

    There are some diagnostic uses for a tool like this in identifying weaknesses in a chipset. But it is hard to take synthetic results and decide either how your device will perform OR decide how your device is NOT performing. There are many factors that impact real life performance, and a benchmarking tool can't really identify those for you (you're going to need good old fashioned sleuthing for much of that) but it is a worthwhile tool to have in your kit.

    However, the biggest thing with these types of tools is the raw information you are given. It is just fun to see all of these specs and to marvel at your device that is the size of your hands and yet outperforms computers from a scant few years ago that were the size of a small table.

    I tested this on my Kindle Fire HDX 7" and both the software and the tablet performed exactly as they should. I highly recommend this application and am glad to see version 3 show up in the Amazon Appstore.

    I love it and as a 'hobbyist' its a piece of software that I don't have to set up. It just does it and tells you the result.
    Brilliant!

    Hallo zusammen,

    ich habe mir die App runtergeladen, da ich wissen wollte wie schnell meine Gerät so sind. Mit dieser App bekommt man eine gute Übersicht wie schnell der Prozessor im Single Score (Nur ein Kern des Prozessor wird benutzt) oder im Multi Core Scor ( Alle Kerne des Prozessor werden benutzt) ist. Zudem kann man seine Ergebnisse mit den Ergebnissen andere vergleichen bzw. mit anderen Geräten. Somit weiß man, wie schnell das eigene Gerät noch im vergleich ist.

    Denen die die App kaufen, viel spass damit :)

    Die App ist extrem einfach zu bedienen, läuft auf praktisch jedem gerät und die Ergebnisse sind zwischen allen Versionen vergleichbar.
    Auch iOS vs. Android ist absolut möglich. (Nur greift dort die exzellente iOS optimierung kaum)

    I need geekbench 5 for a sensible comparison.

    Failing to supply an up to date Version prevents a like for like compassion. This is not a fault of the app, but a fault of the amazon app store.
