'n Woedebui, woedeaanval of vloermoer is 'n emosionele uitbarsting,[1][2] gewoonlik geassosieer met diegene in emosionele nood, wat tipies gekenmerk word deur hardkoppigheid, gehuil, geskreeu, geweld,[3] uittarting,[4] woede, gekerm,weerstand teen pogings tot pasifikasie, en, in sommige gevalle, slaan en ander fisies gewelddadige gedrag. Fisiese beheer kan verlore gaan; die persoon kan dalk nie stilbly nie; en selfs al word die "doel" van die persoon bereik, sal hulle nie gekalmeer word nie. Woedebuie is een van die mees algemene vorme van problematiese gedrag by jong kinders, maar is geneig om in frekwensie en intensiteit af te neem soos die kind ouer word.[12] Vir 'n kleuter kan woedebuie as normaal beskou word, en selfs as maatstawwe vir die ontwikkeling van karaktersterkte.[13][14][15]

Terwyl woedebuie soms gesien word as 'n voorspeller van toekomstige anti-sosiale gedrag,[16] in 'n ander sin is hulle bloot 'n ouderdomsgeskikte teken van oormatige frustrasie,[17] en sal mettertyd afneem gegewe 'n kalm en konsekwente hantering.[18][19][20] Ouerlike inperking waar 'n kind hulself nie kan beheer nie — eerder as wat die kind oënskynlik eis — kan wees wat werklik nodig is.[21]

Selma Fraiberg het gewaarsku teen "te veel druk of kragtige metodes van beheer van buite" in kinderopvoeding: "As ons elke geval van broekwisseling, skattejag, slapies, waterplas en vullisverspreiding in 'n regeringskrisis verander, kan ons maklik hewige uittarting, woedebuie en al die vuurwerke van opstand in die kwekery veroorsaak.".[22]
