نبذة عني

Over two decades of experience in Public Oversight, Regulatory Compliance, Public Policy, Audit Monitoring & Supervision, Financial Reporting, IFRS, Corporate Governance, Anti-Money Laundering, Assurance and Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Fraud Investigations and Islamic Finance.

Currently working with the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) as Director Infrastructure & Head of Audit Oversight within the Supervision Division, responsible for the monitoring of Registered Auditors and CRAs including thought leadership initiatives, research and policy development, stakeholder engagement, forming strategic partnerships, capacity building including coaching and mentoring professional staff and providing cross-organizational advice. Previously associated with Ernst & Young and PwC in various roles in Assurance and Advisory Services.

I represents the DFSA at the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR) and Asian-Oceania Standard Setters Group (AOSSG). Currently a member of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Islamic Finance Consultative Group and a former founding chair of the IFIAR’s Emerging Regulators Group.
