Hey, Longhorns! My name is Akanksha Kasarabada, and I’m a sophomore Government major (@liberalartsut) minoring in Communication Studies (@texasmoody). I was born in Cupertino, CA, but moved to Houston, TX, 5 years ago.
I’m so excited to be one of an amazing team of Social Media Ambassadors this year and to show y’all everything I love about this beautiful city and of course, the Forty Acres. Currently, I am part of the @texasrecsports staff as an Intramural Assistant (shoutout to my super awesome IM coworkers!) I am also a Project Manager for texaspoliticalconsulting and the Communications Committee Chair for @texasvotes_cea. In my free time, I love going to concerts, exploring Austin, hanging out with my friends and, of course, throwing up hook ‘ems every chance I get.

Hi Longhorns! My name is Yasmin and I am super excited to be working as an social media ambassador for UT Austin! I’m in my senior year majoring in Political Communications, shoutout to @texasmoody ! I’m from the Rio Grande Valley, more specifically San Benito, Texas. I have probably made your coffee if you go to Cypress Bend Cafe since I am a student manager there lol. In my free time, I love to play video games and watch too many movies. When I’m not at home, I love to explore Austin’s night life and make new memories with my friends. Hey, Longhorns! My name is Anacia Scogin and I am SO excited to be one of this year’s social media ambassadors! I’m a second-year Studio Art major (@ut_aah), minoring in Art Management and Administration from San Antonio, Texas!
On campus, I am very involved with @utfsa, primarily serving as our Social Media Chair and playing basketball with our Intramural Women’s team! Over the summer I was an Orientation Advisor and am currently a Bevo Buddy Leader with @utaustinnss. I also work as a student attendant at The Color Inside, an art installation at the top of the WCP with @landmarksut. When I’m not out and about on campus, you can find me thrifting, going to concerts, exploring new food spots, or working out!
