During stay at Doha, the Mission Commander along with Commanding Officers of Ships called on various dignitaries including Officiating Commander QENF, Brig Hamad AL Dosrai and Fleet Commander QENF, Brig Ghanim Mubarak Al Komeet.
A number of senior Officers of Qatar Emiri Naval Forces (QENF) have been trained from Pakistan Navy.
The supply of these coastal missile systems will allow the
QENF to monitor maritime coastal traffic and prevent hostile ships from reaching and threatening their territorial waters.
In addition, Commander QENF and prominent members of Pakistani diasporas also attended the reception.
After culmination of DIMDEX-2018, first-ever Bilateral Exercise Asad Al Bahr-I between Pakistan Navy and QENF was conducted from March 15-18.
After successful visit to Qatar, both the ships left Port Hamad, Doha and were seen off by the
QENF officers and the defence attache of Pakistan in Doha, Qatar.
Other highlights of the port call included cross deck ship visits by
QENF and QCG personnel to ICGS Samarth and by ICGS Samarth's crew to
QENF ships.
After successful visit to Qatar, ships left Port Hamad, Doha on 19 Mar 18 and were seen off by
QENF officers and Defence Attache of Pakistan in Doha, Qatar.
The Directorate of Defence Communications (DDC) at the Ministry of Defence announced the conclusion of the two-day joint maritime exercise (Rapid Response) between Qatar Emiri Naval Forces (
QENF) and its Turkish counterpart in the Qatari territorial waters.
