DANVERS -- Care Dimensions, formerly Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, has promoted John McDonald, a registered nurse from Clinton, to evening night manager.

The Hospice of the North Shore's Kaplan Family Hospice House, a facility with 12 patient suites, offers naming recognition and a garden brick remembrance program.

Guay, 45, surrounded by her loving family, passed away January 1, 2011 at the Hospice of the North Shore after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

The family asks that flowers be omitted, and that instead, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to The Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B102, Danvers, MA 01923; or the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice, Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St.
