Dancing with the Stars Cast: Who's Headed to the Finale?
SPOILERS AHEAD! Who was shockingly eliminated on Dancing with the Stars and who is headed for the Finals? You'll find out here! It was "The Semifinals" during Week 9 of Dancing with the Stars Season 24. Get a full recap of the evening as we take a look at how the remaining couples from the Dancing with the Stars 2017 cast did. Each team was coached by a judge for their first dance of the evening. There were three perfect 40s - two from Simone Biles and one from Normani Kordei. At the end of the evening, Simone Biles was voted off the show in the unbelievable ninth elimination of the season. The Dancing with the Stars Finale is now set with Normani Kordei, Rashad Jennings and David Ross. Who will win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy? We'll find out soon enough. But for now, let's take a look at the DWTS Results and Eliminations for Week 9 below!
Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy did a Viennese Waltz to "Desperado" by Rihanna after taking some direction everyone's favorite head judge. Len saw a little stutter at one point but the team did exactly what he asked. Julianne dubbed the dance mysterious and beautiful, but she also saw a little stumble. Scores of 9-9-9-9 from the judges for a total of 36. For their second dance, this team did a Jazz routine to "What a Wonderful World." Len gave them a standing ovation. Scores of 10-10-10-10 from the judges for a perfect 40. See both of Normani's dances below.
David Ross and Lindsay Arnold did a Foxtrot to "You Make Me Feel So Young" by Michael Buble. Julianne had a lot of fun working with this team and she was really proud of what they did. Bruno says watching David is a joy. Len called David "the boy who brings joy." Scores of 9-8-9-8 from the judges for a total of 34. For their second dance, this team did a Tango to "Castle on the Hill." Bruno said David went for it like "a torpedo in a tuxedo." Carrie Ann noticed David's foot came of the ground but still felt it was his best dance so far. Scores of 9-9-9-9 from the judges for a total of 36. See both of David's dances below.
Simone Biles and Sasha Farber did the Jive to "Faith" by Stevie Wonder featuring Ariana Grande. Carrie Ann gave some direction to this team during the week and thought the dance was amazing. Bruno loved how Simone let loose and didn't miss a step. Scores of 10-10-10-10 from the judges for Simone's first perfect 40 of the season. For their second dance, the team did a Rumba to "Skyscraper." Bruno called it beautiful, real and gorgeous. There nothing Len didn't like about the dance. Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater (get Emma's gorgeous DWTS glow now) did the Rumba to "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur. Carrie Ann said it looked like Rashad was painting a canvas with his body. Len complimented the fluidity he saw in the arms. Bruno, who coached this team during the week, said his student exceeded all expectations. Scores of 9-9-10-10 from the judges for a total of 38. For their second dance, this team did a Quickstep to "Yes I Can." Julianne felt Rashad was very light on his feet though Len disagreed. Bruno loved the sways Rashad displayed when changing direction.
