Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said Thursday that the family of Christi Ruso has confirmed that a small piece of fabric found outside of Colby Tatom’s house on County Road 777 near Buna was from her clothing.
Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard says a second arrest has been made in the October 2021 shooting death of Christi Ruso and the gun that was used to kill her has been recovered.
KJAS Radio news has learned that a local woman who was apparently involved in an auto incident that occurred late Wednesday on the Highway 190 west has been charged with driving while intoxicated.
One person underwent treatment at a local hospital for the injuries she received in a two-vehicle auto accident that occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of South Bowie and Childers Streets, on the south side of Jasper.
