Home and Away guest star Hugo Johnstone-Burt has confirmed that his creepy character Jamie Sharpe is a "danger" to show favourite Leah Patterson-Baker.

Viewers in Australia have recently seen Leah (Ada Nicodemou) take a romantic interest in newcomer Jamie, but his over-eager attitude towards the potential relationship is set to leave her concerned.

Leah agrees to give Jamie another chance when he apologises for taking her son VJ out on a jet-ski without her permission, but he later continues to cross the line by behaving in a fatherly manner towards the youngster.

After Leah has rejected Jamie once again, he completely loses control by trashing the Diner.

Johnstone-Burt told TV Week: "When Leah says 'no' for the final time, he kind of goes a bit crazy."

A concerned Liam Murphy (Axle Whitehead) later does some digging into Jamie's erratic behaviour, which leads him to a disturbing discovery.

Johnstone-Burt added: "He had taken a photo of Leah and VJ off the fridge and photoshopped himself into the middle. I don't think you can get creepier than that!

"She is in danger from this guy who is forever hanging around her house and letting himself in."

Home and Away airs these scenes next week on Network Seven in Australia, and in January on Channel 5 in the UK.
