Nutanix AHV installation failure on PowerEdge Server

I am trying to setup single node cluster using Foundation VM. The Nutanix AHV provision and installation consistently failure on PowerEdge server with following error:CRITICAL clean_disks:151 Unable to initialize trusted storage deviceI assume; the installation could be failure because of the primary SSD drives are 447G drives. Nutanix CE install with NVME drives

I am working to create a 4 node cluster. I have 4 Dell Optiplex 7000s, each with 64gb ram, core i7 processors (12 cores) , I have a 32gb Samsung USB for the boot drive and 2 - WD Black SN770 2TB NVME drives for storage. the install completes successfully. but upon reboot, i get a couple of errors right after i get the login prompt and the CMV will enter a paused state.

Replace (Not Add) Category On VM Via RestAPI

Greetings everyone,I have been successful at creating a rest api call to ADD a category to the VM. The issue is we only want 1 category per VM, so if the VM already has a category assigned we want it to REPLACE the value and not ADD it. With my current code (ie: use GET command of VM, remove Status, replace categories and categories_mapping then use PUT command) the JSON object looks good before uploading but afterwards I see the new category and the old one. I tried using a PATCH command but AHV doesn’t like that (and it isn’t in the documentation either). New Category = NEW_CATVM Original State: "categories": { "OLD_CAT": "OLD_CAT", } VM Post My Update State: "categories": { "OLD_CAT": "OLD_CAT", "NEW_CAT": "NEW_CAT" } VM Desired State: "categories": { "NEW_CAT": "NEW_CAT" }Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t start VM. I checked the status of the host with “acli host.get” command. Here is the output: 0.0.2.10 { cpu_usage_ppm: 0 host_overhead_bytes: 0 logical_timestamp: 1 max_mem_ha_reserved_bytes: 0 mem_assigned_bytes: 0 mem_usage_bytes: 0 memory_size_bytes: 0 node_state: "AcropolisNormal" num_cpus: 0 pool_size_bytes: 0 schedulable: False uuid: "22deb90e-cd1c-48af-af43-5a3192775999"} The host is not in maintenance mode. Is there any command to flip “schedulable” to True?

Hey.I have an old Nutanix appliance (NX-1065-5G)I’ve been told in this post I want to install on my appliance AOS 6.10 (with competible AHV),Then I want to deploy Prism Central, In order to use Microsegmentation and self-service (Calm) It is really possible? my hardware support that? according to the Compatibility and Interoperability Matrix, deploy AOS 6.10 not supported But I successes to deploy it (by install CE then upgrade with Foundation tool) Thanks Eviatar
