Ubuntu Edge Misses Funding Goal and Other News You Need to Know

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. The Ubuntu Edge smartphone failed to reach its crowdfunding goal. The project’s Indiegogo campaign raked in an impressive $12.8 million, but still fell short of the group's $32 million goal.

On the privacy invasion front, the NSA gathered 56,000 emails from Americans that bore no links to terrorism. And Facebook opened up access to the general public to embed posts from its public pages.
