A newly unsealed FBI affidavit reveals that 17-year-old Wisconsin native Nikita Casap — who murdered his parents, stole $14,000 in cash, and plotted to assassinate President Trump using a militarized drone — was communicating via Telegram with an overseas phone number registered to Vodafone Ukraine, one of the country’s largest mobile carriers.
A far-left pastor of a Florida United Methodist Church lit a candle wrapped in barbed wire in honor of accused MS-13 gang member and alleged wife beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia during his Easter Sunday service, saying the United States government “kidnapped” him.
The sermon was given by Rev. Andy Oliver of Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, where he compared the El Salvadoran illegal alien to one of the criminals who were crucified alongside Jesus Christ before his Resurrection:
Vice President JD Vance and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Monday they had agreed on a “roadmap” for negotiations over a trade deal to avert looming “reciprocal” tariffs — while President Trump insisted at the White House that talks with top US trading partners were going “very well.”
Little is publicly known about how negotiations with countries like Japan, South Korea, Australia, Vietnam and the United Kingdom are actually going — with a source close to the administration also telling The Post Monday that “the spin is out of control” and that this person “can’t tell what is cope and what is optimism."
In the latest major deregulation effort by the Trump administration, the Department of Transportation has withdrawn a Biden-era highway emissions rule set to take effect in May.
Without the repeal, state transportation departments would have had to measure carbon dioxide emissions on federally funded highways, set goals for emissions reduction, and send the data to federal agencies.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, we are going to build great, big, beautiful things again. I slashed this ridiculous climate requirement to ensure no radical political agenda gets in the way of revitalizing America’s highways,” DOT Secretary Sean Duffy said.
The twelve-year reign of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Pope Francis, as the head of the Roman Catholic Church began shortly after the strange and still-unexplained resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, and seven weeks into the second term of Barack Obama as president of the United States. It was fitting that Obama was president during the first four years of Francis’ papacy, as Francis was the Barack Obama of popes: just as Obama did as president of the United States, Pope Francis worked to weaken, instead of strengthen, the institution he was leading, and to provide aid and comfort to its enemies, while confusing and maddening its ardent supporters.
The Trump administration may “soon” institute a plan for illegal immigrant farm workers to leave the country then return legally to work, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins said Monday.
“The president at his Cabinet meeting, the one about a week and a half ago, brought that up, and he really fully understands and realizes that our dairy producers, our row croppers, our citrus producers, they have to have labor to be able to feed America, and food security, and America is national security, so it’s incredibly encouraging,” Rollins told The Daily Signal. “He realizes that, but at the same time realizing that you have to secure the border,
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to direct food manufacturers to phase out eight petroleum-based food dyes from cereals, sports drinks, and other grocery staples by the end of 2026.
The directive, expected to be announced in full detail on Tuesday, affects hundreds of thousands of grocery store items containing eight petroleum-based dyes, which health experts have long criticized for potentially causing hyperactivity and other neurobehavioral problems in children, according to a New York Times report.
The Trump administration reupped a $5 million reward Monday for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Yulan Adonay Archaga Carías, the alleged leader of MS-13 in Honduras.
Archaga Carías, who also goes by “Porky,” directs several of the notoriously violent gang’s criminal activities, including drug trafficking, money laundering, murder and kidnappings, according to the State Department.
The US government’s $5 million bounty for Archaga Carías was first offered in 2023 under the State Department’s Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program but is being highlighted once again as part of the Trump administration’s efforts to combat the gang, which earlier this year President Trump designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Four House Democrats traveled to El Salvador to meet with wife-beater and MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Inspired by Dem Senator Van Hollen, Reps. Robert Garcia (CA), Maxwell Frost (FL), Yassamin Ansari (AZ), and Maxine Dexter (OR) traveled to El Salvador on Monday to try to facilitate the release of Abrego Garcia.
However, unlike these four Democrats, Chris Van Hollen’s trip was funded by taxpayer money.
Van Hollen confirmed on Sunday that hardworking American taxpayers funded his trip to El Salvador so he could meet with an alleged MS-13 gang member currently held at the CECOT prison.
WASHINGTON – Since the pandemic, federal student loan borrowers have been mostly protected from the harshest consequences of not paying back their loans. That's about to change, and quickly. Linda McMahon, the secretary of the U.S. Department of Education, said the federal government will resume involuntary collections for borrowers in default on May 5. In two weeks, loan holders will start the process of taking money from the paychecks of borrowers who've missed their payments for 270 days or more. They'll also start moving to collect from other federal payments, including tax refunds and Social Security benefits. The change, which McMahon

The Democrats have been making fools out of themselves as they go to bat for violent criminal gangbangers who the Trump administration has been deporting to El Salvador for a stay in the country’s CECOT mega-prison. Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen has been the poster boy of shameless failure theater, as he was the first to head down to the Central American country to try to “save” alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
He managed to meet with the detainee, but has danced around the allegations that Abrego Garcia beat his wife and was possibly involved in human trafficking. This after he virtually ignored the brutal rape and murder
BOSTON — Harvard University announced Monday that it was suing the Trump administration to halt a freeze on more than $2.2 billion in grants after the institution said it would defy the Trump administration’s demands to limit activism on campus. (Photo)

In a letter to Harvard earlier this month, Trump’s administration had called for broad government and leadership reforms at the university, as well as changes to its admissions policies. It also demanded the university audit views of diversity on campus, and stop recognizing some student clubs.
President Trump had the perfect response to a reporter asking if he still has confidence in Pete Hegseth after the latest Signal chat leak.
Fake News NPR ran a hit piece on Hegseth and said the White House is looking to replace him as Defense Secretary.
“It’s just fake news,” President Trump said to reporter at the Easter Egg Roll. “You know, he was put there to get rid of a lot of bad people, and that’s what he’s doing. You don’t always have friends when you do that.”
“He is doing a great job … Ask the Houthis how he’s doing,” Trump said referring the US strikes on Houthi terrorists in Yemen.
Secret weapon? Thus far, the Trump administration has deployed plenty of public weapons in the fight to end anti-Semitism and illegal discrimination in Academia, and especially in the Poison Ivies. The most obvious weapon has been money, and that was enough to get Columbia's attention, if not its full cooperation.
For Harvard, Donald Trump and his team have also deployed tax exemptions and access to foreign students and funds -- again, publicly. In fact, as the Wall Street Journal reports this morning, the administration got surprised and infuriated by how public Harvard made it, and now may up the ante:

As we’ve reported, the Democrats and their partners in the mainstream media have been after Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth since the day he was nominated. They’re desperate for some sort of scandal in the Trump administration that they can use to regain relevance, since they’ve mostly been reduced to stunt trips to El Salvador and promoting political violence.
They hoped to find their new Watergate in the “Signal chat” story where a left-wing reporter was mistakenly included on a chat with Hegseth, Vice President JD Vance and others as they discussed potential military strikes in Yemen. That story eventually died down when an investigation revealed

Six years ago, my wife and I spent some time in Italy. When we were in Rome, we hired a guide to take us through the Vatican. It was a wonderful experience. Our guide was an attractive young woman who obviously was a practicing Catholic.
Some time in the afternoon, after she had gotten to know us a little and probably had figured out that we were not on the Left, she cautiously asked me what I thought of Pope Francis. I said it was probably none of my business since I was not a Catholic, but for what it’s worth, I didn’t like him. I said

The Trans Superiority Narrative (TSN) tells us men pretending to be women are special. They’re mystically in touch with a higher reality, a higher morality, a more authentic version of their humanity, their true selves. This exalted, superhuman status means they have “trans rights,” which cancel the actual constitutional rights of everyone else. The old axiom: “my right to swing my fist ends where another’s nose begins” doesn’t apply to trans, particularly not trans boys/men who want to beat girls/women in sports.
Normal Americans expected to accept this bizarre interpretation of rights and to fully accept the TSN and laud the “stunning bravery” of trans have long questioned their

On Friday, the story of an American citizen being held by immigration officials for ten days burst into the political sphere. It was the perfect storm for the press, who were salivating over the opportunity to turn one of the Trump administration's best polling issues into a liability.
As the original reporting went, Jose Hermosillo was wrongfully arrested in Albuquerque, NM, and held for over a week despite telling ICE officials that he was an American. It wasn't until his family showed up with a birth certificate and a Social Security card that he was released.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has racked up a string of lucrative directorships since leaving office, The Post can reveal, including a multi-million-dollar consulting gig with Ukraine’s top cell phone operator.
Pompeo, whose security detail was revoked by President Trump in January, signed up for an advisory job with Kyivstar and its Nasdaq-listed parent VEON in June of last year, financial filings show.
The 61-year-old had joined the boards of Kyivstar and VEON in November 2023 and May 2024, respectively.

The Trump administration is tackling a different border flow after illegal crossings plunged to record lows.
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin embarked Monday on a mission to halt the flow of Mexican sewage into the US from Tijuana.
“EPA is going to be on the border with Mexico,” Zeldin told reporters Monday before flying to San Diego.
“There, for decades, has been raw sewage that’s been traveling across the border, and Americans are very concerned with regards to beach closures, degradation of the Tijuana River Valley and concerns of public health, air quality,” Zeldin said.
House Republicans have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to charge former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for making “criminally false statements” to Congress, citing “overwhelming evidence” that an audit he presided over had low-balled nursing home deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The House Oversight Committee re-upped the criminal referral after then-Attorney General Merrick Garland declined last year to prosecute Cuomo for allegedly triggering, helping to draft and reviewing a July 6, 2020, report that undercounted the total number of deaths in senior care facilities by 46%.

Nadine Menendez was convicted Monday of cooking up a crooked scheme with her disgraced husband — ex-New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez — to pocket gold bars, a Mercedes-Benz and other bribes.
Jurors found the 58-year-old Englewood Cliffs resident guilty of federal bribery and conspiracy charges following about eight hours of deliberations over two days.
It came months after Bob Menendez’s conviction for his role in the sprawling corruption web, in which the couple leveraged his lofty Senate post to line both of their pockets.
President Donald Trump “stands strongly behind Pete Hegseth,” press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday morning, defending the scandal-plagued Defense secretary against escalating criticism from Democrats and former senior officials.
Hegseth “is doing phenomenal leading the Pentagon,” Leavitt said in a “Fox & Friends” appearance. “This is what happens when the entire Pentagon is working against you and working against the monumental change you are trying to implement.”
Her comments came a day after The New York Times reported that Hegseth shared sensitive information about military operations in Yemen in a private chat on the Signal app that included his wife, brother and personal lawyer
