The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Nyad have been revealed. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, The King’s Speech, Philomena). Also included is the original song Find a Way written by Linda Perry and performed by Jade Bird (also released as a digital single yesterday). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 3 by Netflix Music. Nyad is directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin and stars Annette Bening, Jodie Foster, Rhys Ifans, Ethan Jones Romero, Eric T. Miller, Jeena Yi and Luke Cosgrove. The biographical drama tells the story of athlete Diana Nyad who – at age 60 and with the help of her best friend and coach – commits to achieving her life-long dream: a 110-mile open ocean swim from Cuba to Florida. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, was released in select theaters last month and will debut tomorrow on Netflix.
