Measurements of $\Xi^-$ and $\overline{\Xi}^+$ production in proton-proton interactions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 17.3 GeV in the NA61/SHINE experimentMeasurements of $\Xi^{-}$ and $\overline{\Xi}^{+}$ production in proton-proton interactions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 17.3 GeV in the NA61/SHINE experiment / NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The production of $\Xi(1321)^{-}$ and $\overline{\Xi}(1321)^{+}$ hyperons in inelastic p+p interactions is studied in a fixed target experiment at a beam momentum of 158 GeV/$c$. Double differential distributions in rapidity and transverse momentum are obtained from a sample of 33M inelastic events. [...]

Unveiling the strong interaction among hadrons at the LHC / ALICE Collaboration
One of the big challenges for nuclear physics today is to understand, starting from first principles, the effective interaction between hadrons with different quark content. First successes have been achieved utilizing techniques to solve the dynamics of quarks and gluons on discrete space-time lattices. [...]

Investigation of the interaction via p$-\Sigma^{0}$ femtoscopy in pp collisions / ALICE Collaboration
This Letter presents the first direct investigation of the p-$\Sigma^{0}$ interaction, using the femtoscopy technique in high-multiplicity pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV measured by the ALICE detector. The $\Sigma^{0}$ is reconstructed via the decay channel to $\Lambda \gamma$, and the subsequent decay of $\Lambda$ to p$\pi^-$. [...]

Strangeness production and nuclear modification at LHC energies / Busch, Oliver (Tsukuba U. ; Heidelberg U.)
We report results on strangeness production in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN=2.76 TeV , p-Pb collisions at sNN=5.02 TeV and pp collisions at s=7 TeV from the ALICE collaboration. In heavy-ion collisions, the nuclear modification factor R AA of charged pions, kaons and protons shows a strong, centrality dependent suppression with respect to pp collisions. [...]

Production of $\Sigma(1385)^{\pm}$ and $\Xi(1530)^{0}$ in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The transverse momentum distributions of the strange and double-strange hyperon resonances ($\Sigma(1385)^{\pm}$, $\Xi(1530)^{0}$) produced in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV were measured in the rapidity range $-0.5< y_{\rm{CMS}}<0$ for event classes corresponding to different charged-particle multiplicity densities, $\langle{\rm d}N_{\rm{ch}}/{\rm d}\eta_{\rm{lab}}\rangle$. The mean transverse momentum values are presented as a function of $\langle{\rm d}N_{\rm{ch}}/{\rm d}\eta_{\rm{lab}}\rangle$, as well as a function of the particle masses and compared with previous results on hyperon production. Production of $\Lambda$ hyperons in inelastic p+p interactions at 158 GeV/$c$ / NA61/SHINE Collaboration
Inclusive production of $\Lambda$-hyperons was measured with the large acceptance NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN SPS in inelastic p+p interactions at beam momentum of 158 GeVc. Spectra of transverse momentum and transverse mass as well as distributions of rapidity and x$_{_F}$ are presented. [...]

Measurements of particle production and their correlations at the LHC with the ATLAS detector / Plotnikova, Elena (Joint Institute for Nuclear Research) ; ATLAS Collaboration
The measurement of production properties of mesons and baryons at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV using proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS experiment is presented and compared to predictions. Bose-Einstein correlations provide a unique opportunity for detailed understanding of the space-time geometry of the hadronization region, for determining the size and shape of the source from which particles are emitted and for interpreting quark confinement effects. Study of $\Sigma$(1385) and $\Xi$(1321) hyperon and antihyperon production in deep inelastic muon scattering / COMPASS collaboration
Large samples of $\Lambda$, $\Sigma(1385)$ and $\Xi(1321)$ hyperons produced in deep-inelastic muon scattering off a $^6$LiD target were collected with the COMPASS experimental setup at CERN. The relative yields of $\Sigma(1385)^+$, $\Sigma(1385)^-$, $\bar{\Sigma}(1385)^-$, $\bar{\Sigma}(1385)^+$, $\Xi(1321)^-$, and $\bar{\Xi}(1321)^+$ hyperons decaying into $\Lambda(\bar{\Lambda})\pi$ were measured.
