Strong interactions preserve an approximate isospin symmetry between up ($u$) and down ($d$) quarks, part of the more general flavor symmetry. In the case of $K$ meson production, if this isospin symmetry were exact, it would result in equal numbers of charged ($K^+$ and $K^-$) and neutral ($K^0$ and $\overline K^{\,0}$) mesons in the final state. Multiplicity Dependence of Non-extensive Parameters for Strange and Multi-Strange Particles in Proton-Proton Collisions at $\sqrt{s}= 7$ TeV at the LHC / Khuntia, Arvind (Indian Inst. The transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) spectra in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV, measured by the ALICE experiment at the LHC are analyzed with a thermodynamically consistent Tsallis distribution. The information about the freeze-out surface in terms of freeze-out volume, temperature and the non-extenisivity parameter, $q$, for $K^{0}_{S}$, $\Lambda+\bar{\Lambda}$, $\Xi^{-}+\bar{\Xi}^{+}$ and $\Omega^{-}+\bar{\Omega}^{+}$ are extracted by fitting the $p_{\rm T}$ spectra with Tsallis distribution function. Production of $\Sigma(1385)^{\pm}$ and $\Xi(1530)^{0}$ in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The transverse momentum distributions of the strange and double-strange hyperon resonances ($\Sigma(1385)^{\pm}$, $\Xi(1530)^{0}$) produced in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV were measured in the rapidity range $-0.5< y_{\rm{CMS}}<0$ for event classes corresponding to different charged-particle multiplicity densities, $\langle{\rm d}N_{\rm{ch}}/{\rm d}\eta_{\rm{lab}}\rangle$. The mean transverse momentum values are presented as a function of $\langle{\rm d}N_{\rm{ch}}/{\rm d}\eta_{\rm{lab}}\rangle$, as well as a function of the particle masses and compared with previous results on hyperon production. Multi-strange baryon production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV with ALICE / ALICE Collaboration
A measurement of the multi-strange Xi- and Omega- baryons and their antiparticles by the ALICE experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is presented for proton-proton collisions at centre of mass energy of 7 TeV.
