CMS RPC performance and operation in LHC Run 3 / CMS Collaboration
The CMS experiment has collected more than 180 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at a 13.6 TeV center-of-mass energy in Run 3 data taking (2022, 2023 and 2024). The CMS RPC system faces the challenge of the LHC delivered instantaneous luminosity of up to 2 x 10$^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$, providing redundant information for robust muon triggering, reconstruction and identification. ME0 Quality Control Results from Initial Productions /CMS Collaboration
As the High-Luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) is scheduled to begin in 2026, the CMS muon system is being upgraded. One of its main upgrades is the installation of Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors, ME0, in the very forward region of the CMS endcap ($2.0 < \lvert \eta \rvert < 2.8$). Mass production of the ME0 modules started in April 2024 and is progressing smoothly. [...]

GE1/1 Operation Plots /CMS Collaboration
This document presents a study on the performance of the CMS GE1/1 chambers in daily operation. It shows efficiency results in 2024, also at very high granularity, the evolution of the short circuits in the detectors as well as details on the improvements applied to the trigger timing during the 2024 data taking period..

Search for long-lived charged particles using the CMS detector in Run-2 / Vami, Tamas Almos (UC, Santa Barbara) /CMS Collaboration
Long-lived charged particles are predicted by various theories beyond the Standard Model, leading to unique signatures that could reveal new physics. At the LHC, the CMS detector enables searches for these massive particles, identifiable by their characteristic ionization patterns. [...]

An integrated flux-symmetric spectrometer-magnet system for the SND@LHC experiment upgrade / SND@LHC Collaboration
The proposed upgrade of the SND@LHC experiment for the High Luminosity phase of the LHC (HL-LHC) will strongly benefit from the presence of a magnetized region, allowing for muon momentum and chargemeasurement. In this paper we describe an iron core magnet system that is partly integrated with the calorimeter and that is designed to respect the strict constraints from the available space in the experimental cavern, power consumption, and field requirements.Semi-analytical tools are introduced to explore the parameter space, in order to define the primary design options. Discharge Studies in a CMS ME0 GEM Detector /CMS Collaboration
The LHC is undergoing an upgrade to increase the instantaneous luminosity by half an order of magnitude; as a result, several detector systems are undergoing upgrades to operate at this higher luminosity. One such upgrade is the introduction of the ME0 GEM detectors in the endcap muon system of the CMS detector, which will extend pseudorapidity acceptance for muons to $\lvert\eta\rvert = 2.8$. [...]
