Excited states in the neutron-deficient nucleus 87Tc have been studied via the fusion-evaporation reaction 54Fe(36Ar, 2n1p) 87Tc at 115 MeV beam energy. The AGATA γ -ray spectrometer coupled to the DIAMANT, NEDA, and Neutron Wall detector arrays for light-particle detection was used to measure the prompt coincidence of γ rays and light particles. Experimental signatures of moderately enhanced octupole correlations at high spin in 136Nd are indicated for the first time. The extracted dipole moments of two negative-parity bands are only two times smaller than those of the lanthanide nuclei with N90 which present well-established octupole correlations. [...]

The electromagnetic character of the ΔI=1 transitions connecting the one- to zero-phonon and the two- to one-phonon wobbling bands should be dominated by an E2 component, due to the collective motion of the entire nuclear charge. In the present work it is shown, based on combined angular correlation and linear polarization measurements, that the mixing ratios of all analyzed connecting transitions between low-lying bands in 135Pr interpreted as zero-, one-, and two-phonon wobbling bands, have absolute values smaller than one. A γ -ray spectroscopic study of 212Po was performed at the Grand Accélérateur National d’Ions Lourds, using the inverse kinematics α-transfer reaction 12C(208Pb, 212Po) 8Be and the AGATA spectrometer. A careful analysis based on γγ coincidence relations allowed us to establish 14 new excited states in the energy range between 1.9 and 3.3 MeV. [...]

The low-lying energy spectrum of the extremely neutron-deficient self-conjugate (N=Z) nuclide 8844Ru44 has been measured using the combination of the Advanced Gamma Tracking Array (AGATA) spectrometer, the NEDA and Neutron Wall neutron detector arrays, and the DIAMANT charged particle detector array. Excited states in 88Ru were populated via the 54Fe(36Ar,2nγ)88Ru* fusion-evaporation reaction at the Grand Accélérateur National d’Ions Lourds (GANIL) accelerator complex. [...]
