Measurement of the fractional radiation length of a pixel module for the CMS Phase-2 upgrade via the multiple scattering of positrons / Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
High-luminosity particle collider experiments such as the ones planned at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider require ever-greater vertexing precision of the tracking detectors, necessitating also reductions in the material budget of the detectors. Traditionally, the fractional radiation length ($x/X_0$) of detectors is either estimated using known properties of the constituent materials, or measured in dedicated runs of the final detector. Evaluation of planar silicon pixel sensors with the RD53A readout chip for the Phase-2 Upgrade of the CMS Inner Tracker / CMS Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN will undergo an upgrade in order to increase its luminosity to $7.5 \times 10^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. The increased luminosity during this High-Luminosity running phase\\ (HL-LHC), starting around 2029, means a higher rate of proton-proton interactions, hence a larger ionizing dose and particle fluence for the detectors. The current tracking system of the CMS experiment will be fully replaced in order to cope with the new operating conditions. [...]

Evaluation of HPK $n^+$-$p$ planar pixel sensors for the CMS Phase-2 upgrade / Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
To cope with the challenging environment of the planned high luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC), scheduled to start operation in 2029, CMS will replace its entire tracking system. The requirements for the tracker are largely determined by the long operation time of 10~years with an instantaneous peak luminosity of up to $7.5\times 10^{34}$~cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$ in the ultimate performance scenario. Depending on the radial distance from the interaction point, the silicon sensors will receive a particle fluence corresponding to a non-ionizing energy loss of up to $\Phi_{\text{eq}} = 3.5\times 10^{16}$~cm$^{-2}$. Test beam performance of a CBC3-based mini-module for the Phase-2 CMS Outer Tracker before and after neutron irradiation / Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN will undergo major upgrades to increase the instantaneous luminosity up to 5-7.5$\times10^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. This High Luminosity upgrade of the LHC (HL-LHC) will deliver a total of 3000-4000 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13-14 TeV. [...]

Gas mixture quality monitoring for the RPC detectors at the LHC experiments / Mandelli, B (CERN) ; Guida, R (CERN) ; Gagliardi, M (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) ; Marchisone, M (IP2I, Lyon)
Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) detectors are widely employed in the muon trigger systems of three experiments at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) thanks to their excellent time resolution. The LHC RPC systems are operated under gas recirculation to reduce operation cost and greenhouse gas emissions since their gas mixture is based on C2H2F4, which has a global warning potential of 1430 and it is subject to the European F-gas Regulation. Jet fragmentation transverse momentum ($j_{\rm T}$) distributions are measured in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (p–Pb) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed with the ALICE tracking detectors and electromagnetic calorimeter using the anti-kT algorithm with resolution parameter $R$ = 0.4 in the pseudorapidity range $|\eta|$ < 0.25. $\Lambda^+_e$ production in $pp$ and in $p$-Pb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$=5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production cross section of prompt $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c}$ charmed baryons was measured with the ALICE detector at the LHC at midrapidity in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (p-Pb) collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV. The $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c}$ and $\overline{\Lambda}^{-}_{\rm c}$ baryons were reconstructed in the hadronic decay channels $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c} \rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K}^{-}\pi{+}$ and $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c} \rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K}^{0}_{\rm S}$ and respective charge conjugates. Inform.) ; Adolfsson, Jonatan (Lund U.) ; Aglieri Rinella, Gianluca (CERN) ; Agnello, Michelangelo (Turin Polytechnic) ; Agrawal, Neelima (INFN, Bologna) ; Ahammed, Zubayer (Calcutta, VECC) ; Ahmad, Shakeel (Aligarh Muslim U.) ; Ahn, Sang Un (KISTI, Daejeon) et al. /ALICE
The prompt production of the charmed baryon $\Lambda_c^+$ and the $\Lambda_c^+$/D$^0$ production ratios were measured at midrapidity with the ALICE detector in pp and p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. These new measurements show a clear decrease of the Λ+c /D0 ratio with increasing transverse momentum ($p_{T}$) in both collision systems in the range 2 < $p_{T}$ < 12 GeV/$c$, exhibiting similarities with the light-flavour baryon-to-meson ratios p/$\pi$ and $\Lambda$/K$_S$.
