Daily modulations and broadband strategy in axion searches: An application with the CAST-CAPP detector
/ Caspers, F. (ESI, Archamps ; CERN) ; Adair, C.M. (British Columbia U.) ; Altenmüller, K. (Zaragoza U.) ; Anastassopoulos, V. (Patras U.) ; Cuendis, S. Arguedas (CERN) ; Baier, J. It has been previously advocated that the presence of the daily and annual modulations of the axion flux on the Earth's surface may dramatically change the strategy of the axion searches. The arguments were based on the so-called Axion Quark Nugget (AQN) dark matter model which was originally put forward to explain the similarity of the dark and visible cosmological matter densities $\Omega_{\rm dark}\sim \Omega_{\rm visible}$. Search for dark matter axions with CAST-CAPP
/ Adair, C.M. (British Columbia U.) ; Altenmüller, K. (Zaragoza U.) ; Anastassopoulos, V. (Patras U.) ; Cuendis, S. Arguedas (CERN) ; Baier, J. (Freiburg U.) ; Barth, K. (CERN) ; Belov, A. The CAST-CAPP axion haloscope, operating at CERN inside the CAST dipole magnet, has searched for axions in the 19.74 $\mu$eV to 22.47 $\mu$eV mass range. The detection concept follows the Sikivie haloscope principle, where Dark Matter axions convert into photons within a resonator immersed in a magnetic field. [...]

First results of the CAST-RADES haloscope search for axions at 34.67 $\mu$eV
/ CAST Collaboration
We present results of the Relic Axion Dark-Matter Exploratory Setup (RADES), a detector which is part of the CERN Axion Solar Telescope (CAST), searching for axion dark matter in the 34.67$\mu$eV mass range. A radio frequency cavity consisting of 5 sub-cavities coupled by inductive irises took physics data inside the CAST dipole magnet for the first time using this filter-like haloscope geometry. [...]

Axion search with BabyIAXO in view of IAXO

Axions are a natural consequence of the Peccei-Quinn mechanism, the most compelling solution to the strong-CP problem. Similar axion-like particles (ALPs) also appear in a number of possible extensions of the Standard Model, notably in string theories. [...]

Next Generation Search for Axion and ALP Dark Matter with the International Axion Observatory
/ Ruz, J (LLNL, Livermore) ; Vogel, J K (LLNL, Livermore) ; Armengaud, E (IRFU, Saclay) ; Attie, D (IRFU, Saclay) ; Basso, S (Brera Observ.) ; Brun, P (IRFU, Saclay) ; Bykovskiy, N (CERN) ; Carmona, J M (Zaragoza U.) ; Castel, J F (Zaragoza U.) ; Cebrián, S (Zaragoza U.) et al.
More than 80 years after the postulation of dark matter, its nature remains one of the fundamental questions in cosmology. Axions are currently one of the leading candidates for the hypothetical, non-baryonic dark matter that is expected to account for about 25% of the energy density of the Universe. [...]

We report on a first measurement with a sensitive opto-mechanical force sensor designed for the direct detection of coupling of real chameleons to matter. These dark energy candidates could be produced in the Sun and stream unimpeded to Earth. [...]
