Neutral current Drell-Yan (DY) lepton-pair production is considered in the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). Using the open-source fit platform xFitter, we investigate the impact of high-statistics measurements of the neutral current DY (NCDY) forward-backward asymmetry $A_{\rm{FB}}$ near the weak boson mass scale in the present and forthcoming stages of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Enhancing the Large Hadron Collider Sensitivity to Charged and Neutral Broad Resonances of New Gauge Sectors
/ Fiaschi, Juri (Liverpool U., Dept. Math.) ; Giuli, Francesco (CERN ; INFN, Rome2 ; Rome U., Tor Vergata) ; Hautmann, Francesco (Antwerp U. ; Oxford U.) ; Moretti, Stefano (Southampton U.)
In scenarios beyond the Standard Model (BSM) characterized by charged ($W^\prime$) or neutral ($Z^\prime$) massive gauge bosons with large width, resonant mass searches are not very effective, so that one has to exploit the tails of the mass distributions measured at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In this case, the LHC sensitivity to new physics signals is influenced significantly by systematic uncertainties associated with the Parton Distribution Functions (PDF), particularly in the valence quark sector relevant for the multi-TeV mass region. Complementarity of Lepton-Charge and Forward-Backward Drell-Yan Asymmetries for Precision Electroweak Measurements and Quark Density Determinations
/ Fiaschi, Juri (Liverpool U., Dept. Math.) ; Giuli, Francesco (CERN ; INFN, Rome2 ; Rome U., Tor Vergata) ; Hautmann, Francesco (Antwerp U. ; Oxford U.) ; Moretti, Stefano (Southampton U.)
We address the impact of future measurements of charged and neutral current Drell-Yan (DY) asymmetries and their combination on Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) uncertainties. We quantify the reduction of PDF uncertainties using the QCD tool xFitter. [...]

Singlet-doublet/triplet dark matter and neutrino masses
/ Fiaschi, Juri (Munster U., ITP) ; Klasen, Michael (Munster U., ITP) ; May, Simon (Garching, Max Planck Inst. ; Munster U., ITP)
In these proceedings, we present a study of a combined singlet--doublet fermion and triplet scalar model for dark matter (DM). Together, these models form a simple extension of the Standard Model (SM) that can account for DM and explain the existence of neutrino masses, which are generated radiatively. [...]

Non-perturbative QCD effects from Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) may be constrained by using high-statistics Large Hadron Collider (LHC) data. Drell-Yan (DY) measurements in the Charged Current (CC) case provide one of the primary means to do this, in the form of the lepton charge asymmetry. [...]

Using Forward-Backward Drell-Yan Asymmetry in PDF Determinations
/ Fiaschi, Juri (Munster U., ITP) ; Accomando, Elena (Southampton U.) ; Hautmann, Francesco (Oxford U. ; CERN) ; Moretti, Stefano (Southampton U.)
/xFitter developer’s team
We study the impact of the inclusion of Neutral Current (NC) DY data from LHC mapped in the Forward-Backward Asymmetry ($A_{\rm FB}$) observable on PDF uncertainties, using the open source platform \texttt{xFitter}. We find that $A_{\rm FB}$ enables new PDF sensitivity at current and future luminosity stages of LHC..

Report from Working Group 3 : Beyond the Standard Model physics at the HL-LHC and HE-LHC
/ Cid Vidal, Xabier (Santiago de Compostela U., IGFAE) ; D'Onofrio, Monica (Liverpool U.) ; Fox, Patrick J (Fermilab) ; Torre, Riccardo (CERN ; INFN, Genoa) ; Ulmer, Keith A (Colorado U.) ; Aboubrahim, Amin (Northeastern U.) ; Albert, Andreas (RWTH Aachen U.) ; Alimena, Juliette (Ohio State U., Columbus (main)) ; Allanach, Benjamin C (Cambridge U., DAMTP) ; Alpigiani, Cristiano (Washington U., Seattle) et al.
This is the third out of five chapters of the final report [1] of the Workshop on Physics at HL-LHC, and perspectives on HE-LHC [2]. It is devoted to the study of the potential, in the search for Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) physics, of the High Luminosity (HL) phase of the LHC, defined as $3$ ab$^{-1}$ of data taken at a centre-of-mass energy of 14 TeV, and of a possible future upgrade, the High Energy (HE) LHC, defined as $15$ ab$^{-1}$ of data at a centre-of-mass energy of 27 TeV.
