The excited states of $N=44$$^{74}$Zn were investigated via $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy following $^{74}$Cu $\beta$ decay. By exploiting $\gamma$-$\gamma$ angular correlation analysis, the $2_2^+$, $3_1^+$, $0_2^+$ and $2_3^+$ states in $^{74}$Zn were firmly established. [...]

We have measured the cross section of the $^{83}$Rb(p,$\gamma)^{84}$Sr radiative capture reaction in inverse kinematics using a radioactive beam of $^{83}$Rb at incident energies of 2.4 and $2.7 A$ MeV. Prior to the radioactive beam measurement, the $^{84}$Kr(p,$\gamma)^{85}$Rb radiative capture reaction was measured in inverse kinematics using a stable beam of $^{84}$Kr at an incident energy of $2.7 A$ MeV. The half-life of the superallowed Fermi $\beta^+$ emitter $^{14}$O was determined to high precision via a direct $\beta$ counting experiment performed at the Isotope Separator and Accelerator (ISAC) facility at TRIUMF. The result, $T_{1/2}$($^{14}$O) = 70619.2(76) ms, is consistent with, but is more precise than, the world average obtained from 11 previous measurements. [...]

Shape dynamics in neutron-rich Kr isotopes: Coulomb excitation of $^{92}Kr$, $^{94}Kr$ and $^{96}Kr$ / Albers, M (Cologne U.) ; Nomura, K (Cologne U.) ; Warr, N (Cologne U.) ; Blazhev, A (Cologne U.) ; Jolie, J (Cologne U.) ; Mücher, D (Munich, Tech. We report on the study of excited states in $^{92,94,96}Kr$ populated via projectile Coulomb excitation at safe energies. The radioactive ion beams at energies of 2.85 MeV/u were delivered by the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN and impinged on self-supporting $^{194,196}Pt$ targets. [...]

Microscopic structure of coexisting $0^+$ states in $^{68}$Ni probed via two-neutron transfer / Flavigny, F (Orsay, IPN ; KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. Astron.) ; Elseviers, J (KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. Astron. ; SCK-CEN, Mol) ; Fedosseev, V N (CERN) et al.
The structure of low-spin states originating from shape-coexisting configurations in $^{68}_{40}$Ni$_{28}$ was directly probed via the two-neutron transfer reaction $^{66}$Ni$(t,p)^{68}$Ni in inverse kinematics using a radioactive ion beam on a radioactive target. The direct feeding to the first excited 0$^+$ state was measured for center-of-mass angles 4°–16° and amounts to an integral of 4.2(16)% relative to the ground state. [...]

Coulomb Excitation of $^{142}$Xe / Henrich, C (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) ; Kröll, Th (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) ; Arnswald, K (Cologne U.) ; Berger, C (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Berner, C (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Berry, T (Surrey U.) ; Bildstein, V (Guelph U.) ; Cederkäll, J (Lund U. (main)) ; Cox, D (Jyvaskyla U.) ; de Angelis, G (INFN, Legnaro) et al.
The even–even nucleus $^{142}$Xe lies north-east of the doubly magic $^{132}$Sn on the neutron-rich side of the nuclear chart. In order to gain further information on the octupole collectivity and the evolution of quadrupole collectivity in this region, a “safe” Coulomb excitation experiment was carried out at the new HIE-ISOLDE facility (CERN) at the end of 2016. Coulomb excitation of (31)Mg / Seidlitz, M ; Mucher, D ; Reiter, P ; Bildstein, V ; Blazhev, A ; Bree, N ; Bruyneel, B ; Cederkall, J ; Clement, E ; Davinson, T et al. /MINIBALL ; REX-ISOLDE
The ground state properties of 31 Mg indicate a change of nuclear shape at N=19 with a deformed Jπ=1/2+ intruder state as a ground state, implying that 31 Mg is part of the “island of inversion”. The collective properties of excited states were the subject of a Coulomb excitation experiment at REX-ISOLDE, CERN, employing a radioactive 31 Mg beam. [...]

The bound states of (10)Be have been studied by removing single neutrons from $^{11}Be$ nuclei. A 2.8 MeV $u^{–1}$ beam of $^{11}Be$was produced at ISOLDE, CERN and directed on to both proton and deuteron targets inducing one-neutron removal reactions. [...]
