Background mitigation concepts for SUPER-NaNu
/ Stummer, Florian Wolfgang (University of London (GB)) ; Andersen, Emily Marie (University of Bergen (NO)) ; Banerjee, Dipanwita (CERN) ; Baratto Roldan, Anna (CERN) ; Bernhard, Johannes (CERN) ; Boogert, Stewart Takashi (University of Manchester (GB)) ; Brugger, Markus (CERN) ; Charitonidis, Nikolaos (CERN) ; Dyks, Luke Aidan (University of Oxford (GB)) ; Gatignon, Lau (Lancaster University (GB)) et al.
Super-NaNu is a proposed neutrino experiment as part of the SHADOWS proposal for the high intensity facility ECN3 in CERN’s North Area. It aims to detect neutrino interactions downstream of a beam-dump that is exposed to a 400 GeV/c high intensity proton beam from the SPS. [...]

Beam loss studies for the P42 beamline at the CERN SPS North Area
/ Dyks, Luke Aidan (University of Oxford (GB)) ; Ahdida, Claudia (CERN) ; Banerjee, Dipanwita (CERN) ; Baratto Roldan, Anna (CERN) ; Bernhard, Johannes (CERN) ; Brugger, Markus (CERN) ; Charitonidis, Nikolaos (CERN) ; Fraser, Matthew Alexander (CERN) ; Gatignon, Lau (Lancaster University (GB)) ; Goillot, Alice Marie (CERN) et al.
The P42 beamline transports 400 GeV protons from the CERN SPS between the T4 and T10 targets. A secondary particle beam is produced at the T10 target and transported along the K12 beamline to the experimental cavern ECN3, presently housing the NA62 experiment. [...]

Characterisation of the optics of the TT24 and P42 beamlines in the CERN SPS North Area
/ Dyks, Luke Aidan (University of Oxford (GB)) ; Banerjee, Dipanwita (CERN) ; Baratto Roldan, Anna (CERN) ; Bernhard, Johannes (CERN) ; Brugger, Markus (CERN) ; Charitonidis, Nikolaos (CERN) ; Fraser, Matthew Alexander (CERN) ; Gatignon, Lau (Lancaster University (GB)) ; Goillot, Alice Marie (CERN) ; Gorn, Aleksandr (CERN) et al.
400 GeV protons extracted from the CERN SPS are transported to the T4 target via the TT20 transfer line. The P42 beamline then transports the protons that did not interact in the T4 target to the T10 target. [...]

Kaon beam simulations employing conventional hadron beam concepts and the RF separation technique at the CERN M2 beamline for the future AMBER experiment

The future AMBER experiment aims to measure the inner structure and the excitation spectra of kaons with a high intensity kaon beam at the CERN secondary beam line M2. One way to identify the small fraction of kaons in the available beam is tagging with the help of differential Cherenkov detectors (CEDARs), whose detection efficiency depends critically on the beam parallelism. Physics Beyond Colliders: The Conventional Beams Working Group
/ Mussolini, Carlo Alberto (CERN ; JAI, UK ; Oxford U.) ; Banerjee, Dipanwita (CERN) ; Baratto Roldan, Anna (CERN) ; Bernhard, Johannes (CERN) ; Brugger, Markus (CERN) ; Charitonidis, Nikolaos (CERN) ; D'Alessandro, Gian Luigi (CERN) ; Gatignon, Laurent (CERN ; Lancaster U.) ; Gerbershagen, Alexander (CERN) ; Metzger, Fabian (CERN ; Bonn U., HISKP) et al.
The Physics Beyond Colliders initiative aims to exploit the full scientific potential of the CERN accelerator complex and its scientific infrastructure for particle physics studies, complementary to current and future collider experiments. Several experiments have been proposed to fully utilize and further advance the beam options for the existing fixed target experiments present in the North and East Experimental Areas of the CERN SPS and PS accelerators. RF-Separated Beam Project for the M2 Beam Line at CERN
/ Gerbershagen, Alexander (CERN) ; Andrieux, Vincent (Univ. Illinois at Urbana Champaign (US)) ; Bernhard, Johannes (CERN) ; Brugger, Markus (CERN) ; Denisov, Oleg (Universita e INFN Torino (IT)) ; Friedrich, Jan (Technische Universitaet Muenchen (DE)) ; Gatignon, Lau (Lancaster University (GB)) ; Gerigk, Frank (CERN) ; Guskov, Alexey (Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (RU)) ; Ketzer, Bernhard (University of Bonn (DE)) et al.
Within the framework of the Physics Beyond Colliders initiative at CERN, discussions are underway on the feasibility of producing radio-frequency (RF) separated beams for Phase-2 of the AMBER experiment at the M2 beam line in the North experimental area of the CERN SPS. The technique of RF separation is applied to enrich the content of a certain particle type within a beam consisting of different species at the same momentum [...]
