Broadband Multi-wavelength Properties of M87 during the 2018 EHT Campaign including a Very High Energy Flaring Episode / Event Horizon Telescope Multi-wavelength Science Collaboration
The nearby elliptical galaxy M87 contains one of the only two supermassive black holes whose emission surrounding the event horizon has been imaged by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). In 2018, more than two dozen multi-wavelength (MWL) facilities (from radio to gamma-ray energies) took part in the second M87 EHT campaign. [...]

First joint oscillation analysis of Super-Kamiokande atmospheric and T2K accelerator neutrino data / T2K Collaboration
The Super-Kamiokande and T2K collaborations present a joint measurement of neutrino oscillation parameters from their atmospheric and beam neutrino data. It uses a common interaction model for events overlapping in neutrino energy and correlated detector systematic uncertainties between the two datasets, which are found to be compatible. [...]

Search for $CP$ violation in D$^0$$\to$ K$^0_\mathrm{S}$K$^0_\mathrm{S}$ decays in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A search is reported for charge-parity CP violation in $ \mathrm{D^0}\to\mathrm{K^0_S}\mathrm{K^0_S} $ decays, using data collected in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV recorded by the CMS experiment in 2018. The analysis uses a dedicated data set that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 41.6 fb$ ^{-1} $, which consists of about 10 billion events containing a pair of b hadrons, nearly all of which decay to charm hadrons. [...]

Measurement of multijet azimuthal correlations and determination of the strong coupling in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A measurement is presented of a ratio observable that provides a measure of the azimuthal correlations among jets with large transverse momentum $ p_{\mathrm{T}} $. This observable is measured in multijet events over the range of $ p_{\mathrm{T}} = $ 360-3170 GeV based on data collected by the CMS experiment in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 134 fb$ ^{-1} $. The CMS Statistical Analysis and Combination Tool: Combine / CMS Collaboration
This paper describes the Combine software package used for statistical analyses by the CMS Collaboration. The package, originally designed to perform searches for a Higgs boson and the combined analysis of those searches, has evolved to become the statistical analysis tool presently used in the majority of measurements and searches performed by the CMS Collaboration. [...]

Exploring scalar contributions with $K^+ \to \pi^+ \ell^+ \ell^-$ / D'Ambrosio, G. (INFN, Naples) ; Iyer, A.M. (Indian Inst. Tech., New Delhi) ; Mahmoudi, F. (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN ; IUF, Paris) ; Neshatpour, S. (IP2I, Lyon)
The rare kaon decay $K^+ \to \pi^+\ell^+\ell^-$ offers insights into Standard Model (SM) physics and beyond. Driven by vector form factor in the SM, it can also probe non-standard contributions. [...]

Search for ZZ and ZH production in the $ \mathrm{b} \bar{\mathrm{b}}\mathrm{b} \bar{\mathrm{b}} $ final state using proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A search for ZZ and ZH production in the $ \mathrm{b} \bar{\mathrm{b}}\mathrm{b} \bar{\mathrm{b}} $ final state is presented, where H is the standard model (SM) Higgs boson. The search uses an event sample of proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 133 fb$ ^{-1} $ collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC. Exploring Eco-Friendly Gas Mixtures for Resistive Plate Chambers: A Comprehensive Study on Performance and Aging / RPC ECOGas@GIF++ Collaboration
Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs) are gaseous detectors widely used in high energy physics experiments, operating with a gas mixture primarily containing Tetrafluoroethane (C$_{2}$H$_{2}$F$_{4}$), commonly known as R-134a, which has a global warming potential (GWP) of 1430. To comply with European regulations and explore environmentally friendly alternatives, the RPC EcoGas@GIF++ collaboration, involving ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb/SHiP, and EP-DT communities, has undertaken intensive R&D; efforts to explore new gas mixtures for RPC technology.
