The Parton Branching Sudakov and its relation to CSS / Martinez, A Bermudez (CERN) ; Hautmann, F (CERN ; Antwerp U. ; Oxford U.) ; Keersmaekers, L (Antwerp U.) ; Lelek, A (Antwerp U.) ; Mendizabal Morentin, M (DESY, Zeuthen) ; Monfared, S Taheri (DESY, Zeuthen) ; van Kampen, A M (Antwerp U.)
The Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) Parton Branching (PB) method is a Monte Carlo (MC) approach to obtain QCD high energy collider predictions grounded in ideas originating from the TMD factorization. It provides an evolution equation for the TMD parton distribution functions (TMDs) and a framework to use those within TMD MC generators. This work focuses on the structure of the PB Sudakov form factor. Azimuthal correlations in high pT processes with the TMD parton branching method at NLO / van Kampen, Mees (Antwerp U.) ; Martinez, A Bermudez (DESY) ; Banos, L I Estevez (DESY) ; Hautmann, F (Antwerp U. ; CERN ; Oxford U.) ; Jung, H (DESY) ; Mendizabal, M (DESY) ; Figueroa, K Moral (Edinburgh U.) ; Prestel, S (Lund U.) ; Monfared, S Taheri (DESY) ; Wang, Q (DESY ; Peking U.) et al.
We discuss our recent results on azimuthal distributions in vector boson + jets and multi-jet production at the LHC, obtained from the matching of next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative matrix elements with transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton branching. We present a comparative analysis of boson-jet and jet-jet correlations in the back to-back region, and a study of the theoretical systematic uncertainties associated with the matching scale in the cases of TMD and collinear parton showers..

Back-to-back azimuthal correlations in $\mathrm {Z} +$jet events at high transverse momentum in the TMD parton branching method at next-to-leading order / Yang, H. Azimuthal correlations in Z+jet production at large transverse momenta are computed by matching Parton - Branching (PB) TMD parton distributions and showers with NLO calculations via MCatNLO. The predictions are compared with those for dijet production in the same kinematic range. [...]

Extending parton branching TMDs to small $x$ / Monfared, Sara Taheri (DESY) ; Hautmann, Francesco (Oxford U. ; Basque U., Bilbao ; Antwerp U. ; Rutherford ; Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Jung, Hannes (DESY) ; Schmitz, Melanie (DESY)
We explore the possibility to include small-$x$ dynamics effects in the parton branching (PB) approach to transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions. To this end, we first revisit the PB method at leading order, presenting a new fit to inclusive-DIS precision data, and performing a numerical study of the dynamic soft-gluon resolution scale. [...]

TMD parton distributions from parton showers / Schmitz, Melanie (DESY) ; Hautmann, Francesco (Antwerp U. ; Rutherford ; Basque U., Bilbao) ; Jung, Hannes (DESY ; CERN) ; Monfared, Sara Taheri (DESY)
We present the determination of Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) parton distributions from Monte Carlo parton showers. We investigate the effective TMD distributions obtained from the PYTHIA8 and HERWIG6 parton showers and compare them to the TMD distributions determined within the Parton Branching method..
