Review of particle physics
/ Particle Data Group Collaboration
The Review summarizes much of particle physics and cosmology. Using data from previous editions, plus 2,717 new measurements from 869 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons and the recently discovered Higgs boson, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons [...]

50 Years of Quantum Chromodynamics
/ Gross, Franz (Jefferson Lab ; William-Mary Coll.) ; Klempt, Eberhard (Bonn U., HISKP) ; Brodsky, Stanley J. (SLAC) ; Buras, Andrzej J. (TUM-IAS, Munich) ; Burkert, Volker D. (Jefferson Lab) ; Heinrich, Gudrun (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Jakobs, Karl (Freiburg U.) ; Meyer, Curtis A. (Carnegie Mellon U.) ; Orginos, Kostas (Jefferson Lab ; William-Mary Coll.) ; Strickland, Michael (Kent State U.) et al.
This paper presents a comprehensive review of both the theory and experimental successes of Quantum Chromodynamics, starting with its emergence as a well defined theory in 1972-73 and following developments and results up to the present day. Topics include a review of the earliest theoretical and experimental foundations; the fundamental constants of QCD; an introductory discussion of lattice QCD, the only known method for obtaining exact predictions from QCD; methods for approximating QCD, with special focus on effective field theories; QCD under extreme conditions; measurements and predictions of meson and baryon states; a special discussion of the structure of the nucleon; techniques for study of QCD at high energy, including treatment of jets and showers; measurements at colliders; weak decays and quark mixing; and a section on the future, which discusses new experimental facilities or upgrades currently funded. Summary of Topical Group on Hadron Spectroscopy (RF07) Rare Processes and Precision Frontier of Snowmass 2021
/ Lebed, R.F. (ed.) (Arizona State U.) ; Skwarnicki, T. (ed.) (Syracuse U.) ; An, L. (CERN) ; Dobbs, S. (Florida State U.) ; Fulsom, B. (PNL, Richland) ; Guo, F.-K. (Nanjing U. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Karliner, M. (Tel Aviv U.) ; Mitchell, R.E. (Indiana U.) ; Pilloni, A. (INFN, Messina ; INFN, Catania) ; Pompili, A. (Bari U. ; INFN, Bari) et al.
Hadron spectroscopy, the driving force of high-energy physics in its early decades, has experienced a renaissance in interest over the past 20 years due to the discovery of scores of new, potentially "exotic states" (tetraquarks, pentaquarks, hybrid mesons, glueballs), as well as the observation of many new "conventional" hadrons. [...]

Heavy quarkonium: progress, puzzles, and opportunities
/ Brambilla, N. (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Eidelman, S. (Novosibirsk State U. ; Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Heltsley, B.K. (Cornell U., Phys. Dept.) ; Vogt, R. (UC, Davis ; LLNL, Livermore) ; Bodwin, G.T. (Argonne) ; Eichten, E. (Fermilab) ; Frawley, A.D. (Florida State U.) ; Meyer, A.B. (DESY) ; Mitchell, R.E. (Indiana U.) ; Papadimitriou, V. (Fermilab) et al.
A golden age for heavy quarkonium physics dawned a decade ago, initiated by the confluence of exciting advances in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and an explosion of related experimental activity. The early years of this period were chronicled in the Quarkonium Working Group (QWG) CERN Yellow Report (YR) in 2004, which presented a comprehensive review of the status of the field at that time and provided specific recommendations for further progress.
