Sudakov double logs in single-inclusive hadron production in DIS at small <$x$ from the color glass condensate formalism / Altinoluk, Tolga (NCBJ, Warsaw) ; Jalilian-Marian, Jamal (NCBJ, Warsaw ; CUNY, Graduate School - U. Ctr. ; CERN) ; Marquet, Cyrille (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT)
We investigate the high $Q^2$ (photon virtuality) limit of single-inclusive hadron production in DIS (SIDIS) at small $x$, using the color glass condensate formalism at next-to-leading order. We focus on the $\Lambda_{QCD}^2 \ll \mathbf{p}_h^2 \ll Q^2$ kinematic regime where $\mathbf{p}_h$ is the produced hadron transverse momentum, and extract the Sudakov double logarithms. [...]

The goal of this whitepaper is to give a comprehensive overview of the rich field of forward physics. We discuss the occurrences of BFKL resummation effects in special final states, such as Mueller-Navelet jets, jet gap jets, and heavy quarkonium production. [...]

Photon-jet angular correlations in high energy proton-nucleus collisions: from low to high transverse momenta / Jalilian-Marian, Jamal (speaker) (Baruch College, CUNY)
We calculate the double differential cross section for production of a quark parton and a photon in proton-nucleus collisions using a newly proposed formalism which generalizes the Color Glass Condensate approach by including large x gluons of the target. We investigate transverse momentum, rapidity and A dependence of azimuthal angular correlations between the produced parton and the photon in different collision kinematics..

In this summary of the considerations of the QCD working group at Snowmass 2001, the roles of quantum chromodynamics in the Standard Model and in the search for new physics are reviewed, with empahsis on frontier areas in the field. We discuss the importance of, and prospects for, precision QCD in perturbative and lattice calculations. [...]
