β- and α-decay spectroscopy of Au182 / ISOLDE Decay Station Collaboration
An α- and β-decay study of a pure source of laser-ionized and mass-separated Au182 (Z = 79, N = 103) was carried out at the ISOLDE Decay Station at the ISOLDE-CERN facility. Detailed γ-γ analysis following EC/β+ decay of Au182 was performed, and the level scheme of daughter nuclide Pt182 was considerably extended via the identification of 125 new levels and 336 new γ-ray transitions. Structure of Sn128 selectively populated in the β decay of the In128 ground state / IDS Collaboration
High-resolution γ-ray spectroscopy and fast-timing methods were employed to study the excited structure of Sn128, populated via the β-decay chain of Cd128→In128→Sn128. The experiment was performed by online mass separation at the ISOLDE facility at CERN, profiting from intense and pure Cd beams obtained by a temperature-controlled quartz transfer line combined with resonant laser ionization. New upper limits for β-delayed fission probabilities of Fr230,232 and Ac230,232,234 / Bara, S (Leuven U.) ; Algora, A (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Andel, B (Comenius U.) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) ; Bark, R A (iThemba LABS) ; Borge, M J G (Madrid, Inst. Estructura Materia) ; Camaiani, A (Leuven U. ; INFN, Florence ; U. Florence (main)) ; Cocolios, T E (Leuven U.) ; Cubiss, J G (Edinburgh U. ; York U., England) et al.
The process of β-delayed fission (βDF) of Fr230,232 and Ac230,232,234 was studied in an experiment performed at the ISOLDE facility at CERN. As no fission fragments were observed for any of the nuclei investigated, upper limits for their βDF probability (PβDF) were determined. [...]

Direct measurement of three different deformations near the ground state in an atomic nucleus / Montes Plaza, Adrian (Liverpool U. ; Jyvaskyla U.) ; Pakarinen, Janne (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Papadakis, Philippos (Daresbury) ; Herzberg, Rolf-Dietmar (Liverpool U.) ; Julin, Rauno (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Rodríguez, Tomás R (Madrid U.) ; Briscoe, Andrew D (Jyvaskyla U. ; Liverpool U.) ; Illana, Andrés (Jyvaskyla U. ; Madrid U.) ; Ojala, Joonas (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Ruotsalainen, Panu (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
Atomic nuclei serve as prime laboratories for investigations of complex quantum phenomena, where minor nucleon rearrangements cause significant structural changes. $^{190}$Pb is the heaviest known neutron-deficient Pb isotope that can exhibit three distinct shapes: prolate, oblate, and spherical, with nearly degenerate excitation energies. Charge radii of thallium isotopes near the N=126 shell closure / IDS Collaboration
The changes in the mean-squared charge radius of Tlg209 (N=128) and Tlm207 (N=126) relative to Tl205 have been measured for the first time using the in-source laser resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique with the Laser Ion Source and Trap (LIST) at ISOLDE (CERN). The application of the LIST suppresses the dominant background from isobaric francium isotopes and allows access to thallium nuclides with A⩾207. [...]

Coulomb excitation of Zn74,76 / ISOLDE Collaboration
The first experiment using radioactive beams post-accelerated by the HIE-ISOLDE facility has enabled to obtain a precise set of B(E2) transition probabilities in neutron-rich Zn74,76 isotopes. The resulting B(E2; 21+→01+) values are consistent with those determined in earlier REX-ISOLDE measurements. [...]

Simultaneous <math><mi>γ</mi></math>-ray and electron spectroscopy of <math><mmultiscripts><mi>Hg</mi><mprescripts/><none/><mrow><mn>182</mn><mo>,</mo><mn>184</mn><mo>,</mo><mn>186</mn></mrow></mmultiscripts></math> isotopes / IDS Collaboration
Background: The mercury isotopes around $N=104$ are a well-known example of nuclei exhibiting shape coexistence. Mixing of configurations can be studied by measuring the monopole strength $\rho^2(E0)$, however, currently the experimental information is scarce and lacks precision, especially for the $I^\pi \rightarrow I^\pi$ ($I \neq 0$) transitions. Population of a low-spin positive-parity band from high-spin intruder states in $^{177}$Au: The two-state mixing effect / Venhart, M (Bratislava, Inst. Phys.) ; Balogh, M (Bratislava, Inst. Phys.) ; Herzáň, A (Bratislava, Inst. Phys.) ; Wood, J L (Georgia Tech., Atlanta) ; Ali, F A (Liverpool U. ; Sulaimaniya U.) ; Joss, D T (Liverpool U.) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAERI, Tokai) ; Auranen, K (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Carroll, R J (Liverpool U.) ; Drummond, M C (Liverpool U.) et al.
The extremely neutron-deficient isotopes $^{177,179}$Au were studied by means of in-beam γ -ray spectroscopy. Specific tagging techniques, α -decay tagging in $^{177}$Au and isomer tagging in $^{179}$Au, were used for these studies. [...]

Isomeric 13/2$^+$ state in $^{201}$Fr / Auranen, K (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Jakobsson, U (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Badran, H (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Grahn, T (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Greenlees, P T (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Herzáň, A (Jyvaskyla U. ; Bratislava, Inst. Phys.) ; Julin, R (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Juutinen, S (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Konki, J (Jyvaskyla U. ; CERN) ; Leino, M (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
We have identified an isomeric state in $^{201}$Fr for which we propose a spin and parity of $13/2^+$, and interpret it as arising from the $\pi(i_{13/2})$ configuration. A half-life of 720(40) ns was measured, corresponding to $B(M2)=0.17(2)$ W.u., in good agreement with those of other $13/2^+ \to 9/2^- [\pi (i_{13/2}) \to \pi(h_{9/2})]$ transitions observed in other nuclei in the region.
