In recent years, theoretical and phenomenological studies with effective field theories have become a trending and prolific line of research in the field of high-energy physics. In order to discuss present and future prospects concerning automated tools in this field, the SMEFT-Tools 2022 workshop was held at the University of Zurich from 14th-16th September 2022. [...]

Development of a new CEDAR for kaon identification at the NA62 experiment at CERN / NA62 Collaboration
The NA62 experiment at CERN utilises a differential Cherenkov counter with achromatic ring focus (CEDAR) for tagging kaons within an unseparated monochromatic beam of charged hadrons. The CEDAR-H detector was developed to minimise the amount of material in the path of the beam by using hydrogen gas as the radiator medium. [...]

The AWAKE Run 2 programme and beyond / AWAKE Collaboration
Plasma wakefield acceleration is a promising technology to reduce the size of particle accelerators. Use of high energy protons to drive wakefields in plasma has been demonstrated during Run 1 of the AWAKE programme at CERN. [...]

Controlled Growth of the Self-Modulation of a Relativistic Proton Bunch in Plasma / AWAKE Collaboration
A long, narrow, relativistic charged particle bunch propagating in plasma is subject to the self-modulation (SM) instability. We show that SM of a proton bunch can be seeded by the wakefields driven by a preceding electron bunch. [...]

Global analysis of electroweak data in the Standard Model / de Blas, J. (CAFPE, Granada ; Granada U.) ; Ciuchini, M. (INFN, Rome3) ; Franco, E. (INFN, Rome) ; Goncalves, A. (Florida State U.) ; Mishima, S. (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Pierini, M. (CERN) ; Reina, L. (Florida State U.) ; Silvestrini, L. (INFN, Rome)
We perform a global fit of electroweak data within the Standard Model, using state-of-the art experimental and theoretical results, including a determination of the electromagnetic coupling at the electroweak scale based on recent lattice calculations. In addition to the posteriors for all parameters and observables obtained from the global fit, we present indirect determinations for all parameters and predictions for all observables. [...]

Analysis of Proton Bunch Parameters in the AWAKE Experiment / AWAKE Collaboration
A precise characterization of the incoming proton bunch parameters is required to accurately simulate the self-modulation process in the Advanced Wakefield Experiment (AWAKE). This paper presents an analysis of the parameters of the incoming proton bunches used in the later stages of the AWAKE Run 1 data-taking period. [...]

Search for $K^+ \to\pi^+ \nu\overline{\nu}$ at NA62 / Volpe, R (Florence U. ; INFN, Florence) ; Aglieri Rinella, G ; Aliberti, R ; Ambrosino, F ; Ammendola, R ; Angelucci, B ; Antonelli, A ; Anzivino, G ; Arcidiacono, R ; Azhinenko, I et al. /NA62
Among the meson decays, K→πνν‾ are the cleanest environment, from the theoretical point of view, where to search for new physics effects. The NA62 Experiment at CERN SPS aims to measure the BR(K+→π+νν‾) with a 10% precision by the end of 2018. [...]

$Yb_{2}O_{3}$ nano- and submicron-materials were prepared via electrospinning an homogeneous solution obtained by mixing ytterbium acetylacetonate with cellulose acetate in 1:1 acetyl acetone (2,4-pentanodione) and glacial acetic acid, followed by heat treatments for 2 h in air atmosphere at temperatures from 550 °C to 850 °C. The electrospinning procedure was carried out at 15 kV, with a tip to collector distance of 10 cm. [...]

The beam and detector of the NA62 experiment at CERN / NA62 Collaboration
NA62 is a fixed-target experiment at the CERN SPS dedicated to measurements of rare kaon decays. Such measurements, like the branching fraction of the $K^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+} \nu \bar\nu$ decay, have the potential to bring significant insights into new physics processes when comparison is made with precise theoretical predictions. When Java EE Micro Profile meets Angular / Goncalves, Antonio (speaker)
You know Java EE ? You know Micro Services (or sort of) ? You know JSF but don’t use it anymore ? This talk is targeted at Java EE developers who want to discover how the Micro Profile fits today in a Micro Service architecture with an Angular front-end. The talk is divided into three parts : 1) Presenting the Java EE Micro Profile using WildFly Swarm 2) Discovering TypeScript and Angular 3) Create an Angular web interface to interact with the REST back-end (API, Swagger, JWT, Etag…)
